Container House Steel Specifications

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The steel specifications for container houses vary depending on the type of house, its intended use, and design requirements. Common specifications cover aspects such as thickness, material, and structural component dimensions.

Steel Thickness Specifications

  • Container Steel (SPA-H): As a commonly used steel for the main structure of container houses, it comes in various thickness specifications, commonly including ≥2.0mm, ≥2.2mm, ≥2.5mm, ≥2.7mm, and ≥3.0mm. Different thicknesses are suitable for different load-bearing requirements and usage environments. Thicker steel provides higher structural strength and is suitable for scenarios with high stability requirements.
  • Packaged Container House: The bottom frame uses a 3.0mm thick galvanized main beam to provide stable support for the house. The roof uses 0.45mm galvanized color-coated steel plates, and the walls use 75mm thick color-coated steel glass wool sandwich panels. The inner and outer color-coated steel plates are both 0.45mm thick, ensuring structural strength while also providing thermal insulation.
  • Residential Container: The columns have a thickness of no less than 1mm and require equipment for shaping. The channel steel uses a 5X10 specification for welding the main crossbeams around the top and bottom of the container. The corrugated plates have a thickness of around 0.6mm and are available in two materials: black iron and galvanized plates.

Steel Material Specifications

  • Container Steel (SPA-H): It has good weather resistance and can adapt to different climatic conditions, ensuring the structural stability of container houses during long-term use.
  • Packaged Container House: The steel structure uses galvanizing technology to effectively prevent steel rust and corrosion, extending the service life of the house.
  • Residential Container: It uses 100*100 square tube profiles as the framework, fully utilizing the strength of rock wool wall panels and roof panels. Color-coated steel sandwich panels are used as wall materials, combining thermal insulation, heat insulation, and environmental protection and energy-saving characteristics.

Structural Component Dimension Specifications

  • Packaged Modular Mobile House: The steel columns have dimensions of 210mm150mm2555mm with a 3mm thick galvanized column, providing reliable support for the house.
  • Steel Container Bottom Fixed Crossbeam: The standard 20&40-foot container bottom crossbeam has specifications of 4.0/4.545122*45(80)*2332mm, weighing 14.5kg. The material is weather-resistant steel or Q235, meeting the needs of various uses such as mobile houses.
