Container House Stair Design Drawing

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there are no ready-made container house stair design drawings available for direct provision, but stair design ideas can be explained based on common design points and cases.

Common Design Types

  • Straight Ladder Type: This is a relatively simple and straightforward design method, suitable for container houses with relatively compact spaces and low requirements for stair shapes. Straight ladders are usually perpendicular to the ground, leading directly from the first floor to the upper floors such as the second floor. Its advantages are small floor space, simple structure, and relatively low production cost. For example, in some small single-container renovated houses, straight ladders can be placed in a corner of the house for easy access by people. However, the disadvantage of straight ladders is that climbing is relatively strenuous, and safety is relatively low, especially for the elderly and children who need to be extra careful when going up and down the stairs.
  • Spiral Staircase Type: Spiral staircases have a beautiful shape and can add a unique artistic sense to container houses. It rotates upwards around a central axis, saving space while creating a dynamic spatial atmosphere. In some container house designs that pursue individuality and fashion, spiral staircases are often used. For example, in some high-end models of Custom Container Living, spiral staircases may be used to connect different floors and enhance the overall quality of the house. However, the production process of spiral staircases is relatively complex, with high requirements for space dimensions and relatively high costs.
  • Folding Ladder Type: Folding ladders combine the characteristics of straight ladders and some inclined ladders. They consist of two or three straight ladders with platforms for turning in the middle. This design can save space to a certain extent and make the climbing process relatively easy. In some double-story container houses, folding ladders can be placed in the middle of the house for easy access between different areas.

Design Considerations

  • Size Specifications: The step height of the stairs is generally between 15 - 18 centimeters, and the step width is around 25 - 30 centimeters, which can ensure the comfort and safety of people going up and down the stairs. The slope of the stairs should not be too large, generally controlled between 30° - 40°.
  • Structural Stability: Due to the particularity of container houses, the structure of the stairs needs to be firmly connected to the main body of the container to ensure that there will be no shaking or loosening during use. Welding, bolt connection, and other methods can be used for fixation.
  • Safety Protection: Handrails should be installed on both sides of the stairs, with a height of generally around 90 centimeters, to facilitate people to grasp and increase the safety of going up and down the stairs. At the same time, anti-slip strips can be installed on the edges of the stairs to prevent people from slipping.
