Container House Self-Assembly Cabin
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
When assembling a container house self-assembly cabin, attention should be paid to the structural type, installation process, and purchasing considerations.

In terms of structural types:
- Common types include welded integral containers and bolt-connected modular containers. Welded integral containers are welded into shape as a whole in the factory, with a direct load path. The roof load is transferred through the side wall columns to the bottom beams and then evenly distributed to the ground, offering strong resistance to deformation and being suitable for frequent lifting and moving.
- Modular containers are connected using standard panels with bolts, and the load path has multiple connection nodes. The tightness of these nodes affects the overall stability. When purchasing, check the steel wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams, with common specifications ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. The thicker the wall thickness, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the self-weight also increases accordingly. Additionally, pay attention to the coating process on the container surface. Hot-dip galvanizing has a longer anti-corrosion lifespan than cold-dip galvanizing. In areas with large temperature differences between day and night and significant humidity changes, the coating quality determines the rusting speed of the container.
In terms of the installation process:
- Ground preparation: Clear the floating soil and debris from the ground and compact the original soil layer. For long-term fixed use, pour a concrete strip foundation with a width of 30 cm to 50 cm. The depth should be determined according to the thickness of the local frozen soil layer, and the horizontal height difference of the foundation top surface should not exceed 5 mm. For short-term use, prefabricated concrete pads or steel pads can be used, with a pad spacing of no more than 2 m. A crushed stone leveling layer should be laid below.
- Lifting and positioning: Use steel wire ropes with sufficient bearing capacity to ensure that all lifting points are subjected to force simultaneously, avoiding unilateral force that could cause container distortion. After the container is in place, check the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pad. Use thin steel sheets to fill any local gaps and use a level to check the levelness of the bottom beam, with an error controlled within 2 mm per meter.
In terms of purchasing considerations:
- Give priority to products from leading enterprises, such as Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. and CIMC Modular Building Investment Co., Ltd., whose products excel in structural stability and installation efficiency.
- Under extreme working conditions, verify the product's wind and earthquake resistance test reports. Avoid selecting unqualified off-brand products, as their frame deformation rates generally exceed 1.2%, posing safety hazards and resulting in high costs for subsequent rework and repairs.
