Container House Room Images
Currently, there are no publicly available specific images of container house rooms for direct display, but their common design features and internal layouts can be described based on actual cases.

I. Asian Games Container Dormitories: Function-Oriented Compact Design
Taking the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games as an example, its container dormitories adopt a modular assembly form. Each unit consists of two households, with each household accommodating three people. The spatial layout is centered around functionality. The internal configurations include:
- Basic Furniture: Single beds measuring 1.95 meters in length and 90 centimeters in width (some athletes over 2 meters tall have to curl up to rest). The bed frames are mostly made of metal to save space.
- Bathroom Facilities: Each household shares one toilet and one shower room with the other household, adopting a wet-dry separation design. However, due to high usage frequency, there is a problem of wet floors.
- Electrical Appliances: The entire room is only equipped with one air conditioner. The organizing committee suggests 'opening the door for ventilation and cooling before going to bed'. Some units have additional refrigerators and washing machines, but their capacities are limited.
- Decoration Materials: Wood is the main material. The walls are covered with insulation layers, and the floors are laid with moisture-proof flooring. However, leakage still occurs during heavy rain.
II. Civilian Container Residences: Combining Personalization and Comfort
Civilian renovation cases pay more attention to the living experience. For example:
- Space Expansion: By cutting and welding container bodies, open-plan living rooms and independent bedrooms are formed. For instance, a Danish guy built a residence using 9 containers, which includes large window designs to introduce natural light.
- Function Optimization: The kitchen adopts a linear layout, integrating appliances such as induction cookers, microwaves, and small refrigerators. Although the bathroom is small in area, it achieves wet-dry separation through wall-mounted toilets and folding doors.
- Energy Solutions: Some cases are equipped with solar panels for power supply, paired with rainwater collection systems to achieve off-grid living.
- Decoration Style: The interior mainly uses natural wood and white as the dominant colors, paired with green plants and fabric soft furnishings to weaken the cold feeling of the metal container.
III. Adaptive Design in Extreme Environments
In wilderness or forests, container residences need to strengthen survival functions:
- Structural Reinforcement: Hydraulic support systems are added, and side panels can be extended to form terraces. For example, in one case, the activity space is expanded through electric devices.
- Insulation Measures: Double-layer walls are filled with insulation cotton, and the outer layer is covered with anti-corrosive materials such as cedar boards. The windows use four-layer tempered glass.
- Safety Design: Fire-resistant special material fireplaces and backup power supplies are installed. Some cases are equipped with metal mesh partitions to prevent wild animals.
