Container House Room Design

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The design of container house rooms requires comprehensive consideration of structure, functionality, aesthetics, and practicality. The following introduces it from three aspects: design types, design key points, and practical cases:

Design Types

  • Independent Office or Living Units: Using standard containers as carriers, common sizes are 20-foot and 40-foot. They can be used individually or combined by multiple containers. Suitable for project departments, construction site command centers, and individual living spaces.
  • Expandable Designs:
    • Folding Type: Adopts a folding structure design, compressing the volume during transportation and quickly unfolding on-site. The unfolding time for a single unit can be controlled within 30 minutes, suitable for the office needs of exploration teams and temporary command posts that require frequent relocation.
    • Extension Type: Adds side or end extension modules to the container, increasing the usable area by 30%-50% after unfolding. Suitable for long-term on-site office or living spaces with higher requirements for spatial comfort.
    • Double-Wing Extension Type: Effectively increases the available space of the house with a large expansion range, meeting the needs of scenarios with significant changes in spatial requirements, such as temporary exhibitions and emergency rescue operations.
  • Modular Assembly Design: Combines light steel frames with color-coated steel sheets for on-site modular assembly, allowing flexible expansion based on the number of occupants and functional zoning. Commonly used in temporary offices in industrial parks, event planning sites, and temporary housing.
  • Customized Creative Design: Incorporates elements such as glass curtain walls, wood grain finishes, and irregular structures for brand displays, cultural and creative parks, high-end temporary offices, and personalized living spaces, balancing functionality and visual expression.

Design Key Points

  • Structural Design: Ensure the stability of the house in different environments. For example, in earthquake-prone areas, a more robust frame structure is required; in areas with strong winds, wind-resistant design should be considered.
  • Space Utilization: Rationally plan the internal space, adopting a flowing layout to break the clear boundaries of functional areas. Use floor-to-ceiling bookshelves as dividers to separate dynamic and static areas. Additionally, balconies and staircases can be added to increase spatial hierarchy.
  • Lighting and Ventilation: Adopt large glass doors and windows, skylights, etc., to ensure sufficient indoor lighting and good ventilation, while paying attention to waterproofing details.
  • Material Selection: Use high-quality steel and insulation materials to improve the durability, comfort, and environmental friendliness of the house, meeting relevant safety and environmental requirements.
