Container House Roof Size
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
The roof size of a packed container house is usually related to the overall height of the house. The internal height is generally 2500mm. Factors such as the thickness of the roof material will affect the actual height of the outer edge of the roof, and there are differences in the roof sizes of different types of container houses.

- Packed container house: The internal height in the size specifications is 2500mm. This height is the distance from the bottom plate surface to the underside of the top plate, that is, the usable vertical space height inside. Its roof material is 0.45mm galvanized color-coated steel plate or 100mm glass wool. The laying of the roof material will add a certain thickness, but usually, the height of the outer edge of the roof will not change significantly due to the material thickness. The overall roof size is mainly designed around the internal height of 2500mm.
- International standard dry cargo containers: The internal dimensions of a 20-foot container are 589823522390mm, those of a 40-foot container are 1202423522390mm, those of a 40-foot high-cube container are 1202423522690mm, and the internal volume dimensions of a 45-foot high-cube container are 13.58x2.34x2.68 meters. The height parts of these dimensions reflect the vertical distance from the internal roof to the floor of container houses of different specifications, and the height of the outer edge of the roof will change accordingly based on the roof structure.
- Other common specifications: There are container houses with size specifications such as 3x3x2.8 meters and 3000x5950x2800mm. The height of 2.8 meters is the vertical distance from the internal roof to the floor. The height of the outer edge of the roof will vary slightly depending on the roof design (such as flat roof, gable roof, etc.) and the material thickness, but it is generally based on this height.
