Container House Production Cycle

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The production cycle of container houses typically ranges from 30 to 45 days (prefabricated production in the factory), with on-site hoisting and assembly taking approximately 3 to 7 days (depending on the scale and site conditions). The cycle may be extended if complex customization or special circumstances are involved.

Composition of the Regular Production Cycle

  • Scheme Design Phase: Generally takes 3 to 7 days. During this phase, preliminary design planning for the container house is carried out based on customer needs and site conditions to determine the layout and functional zoning of the house.
  • Detailing and Order Placement Phase: Approximately one week. Based on the scheme design, detailed design is carried out to clarify various details such as material specifications and connection methods, after which an order is placed with the production department.
  • Factory Prefabrication Phase: This is the longest part of the production cycle, usually taking 20 to 30 days. Most processes are completed in the factory, including the welding of steel structure frames, the prefabrication of wall and roof panels, and the pre-embedding of internal water and electricity pipelines. For example, companies like Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. manufacture all components of container houses in the factory.
  • Transportation Phase: Depending on the transportation distance, it generally takes 1 to 5 days. The prefabricated container house components are transported from the factory to the project site.
  • On-site Installation Phase: Approximately 3 to 7 days. The components transported to the site are quickly assembled to complete the construction of the container house.

Factors Affecting the Production Cycle

  • Complexity of Customization: If complex customization involving irregular shapes, special functional requirements, etc., is involved, such as a container coffee house requiring curved glass, special window openings, and irregular structures, the production cycle may be extended to more than 15 days or even longer.
  • Special Approvals: The use of some container houses may require special approvals from relevant departments. The approval process can consume a certain amount of time, thus affecting the overall production cycle.
  • Peak Season Production Scheduling: During the peak production season, manufacturers may have a large number of orders, leading to tight production scheduling and potentially extending the production cycle.
