Container House Price Analysis

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The prices of container houses vary significantly depending on the region, configuration, size, and purpose. Prices in North China are typically 15%-30% lower than those in Horgos, Xinjiang, with conventional models ranging from 6,000 to 15,000 yuan per set, while prices for high-end customized or special-purpose products can be even higher.

1. Impact of Regional Differences on Prices

In North China (e.g., Hebei, Tianjin, Beijing), container house prices are relatively low due to a mature industrial base and a well-developed supply chain. For example, the price of a conventional model (with 50/75mm rock wool insulation) with a simple foundation ranges from 6,000 to 8,500 yuan per set, while a 3*6-meter standard, well-decorated model costs between 8,500 and 12,000 yuan per set. In contrast, Horgos, Xinjiang, located on the border, incurs high transportation costs and requires special configurations for insulation and wind resistance in cold regions, resulting in significantly higher prices. For instance, a thickened cold-resistant model with a simple foundation costs between 8,500 and 11,000 yuan per set, while a cold-resistant, well-decorated model (with double-glazed windows and bottom freeze protection) ranges from 11,000 to 15,000 yuan per set, which is 15%-30% more expensive than in North China for the same specifications.

2. Impact of Configuration and Size on Prices

The price of a container house is closely related to its configuration and size. Basic models typically include one door, three windows, and basic electrical wiring, and are priced lower. Well-decorated models, on the other hand, are equipped with floor rubber, a complete water and electricity system, and even solar equipment, and are priced higher. In terms of size, conventional products are mainly 3*6 meters with an area of 18 square meters, and cost between 8,500 and 12,000 yuan per set. Customized models can be adjusted in size according to needs, and prices vary widely depending on materials (e.g., rock wool panels, foam panels) and craftsmanship. High-end customized products can cost more than 15,000 yuan per set.

3. Impact of Purpose and Demand on Prices

Container houses have a wide range of uses, from construction site dormitories to high-end homestays and office spaces, and differences in demand directly affect prices. For example, standardized products for construction sites prioritize cost and are priced lower, while products for cultural tourism and commercial purposes require attention to design, decoration, and functionality, resulting in significantly higher prices. Additionally, the rental market (e.g., 6 yuan per day for a 6-meter-long container) provides a low-cost solution for short-term needs.
