Container House Pile Foundation

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Common types of pile foundations for container houses include screw anchor foundations, concrete strip foundations, prefabricated concrete pad or steel plate foundations, and spot pile foundations, among others. Details are as follows:

  • Screw anchor foundations: Utilize several steel structures screwed into the soil as load-bearing foundations to support container houses and prevent subsidence. This type of foundation achieves green infrastructure with zero excavation, zero pouring, and zero pollution, generating no construction waste such as excess soil and debris, and reducing the workload of land reclamation and revegetation. For example, the temporary office buildings of State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company all use screw anchor foundations, resulting in a threefold increase in installation efficiency, a doubling of material reuse rate, a 30% reduction in construction costs, and an expected comprehensive usage of over 10 times.

  • Concrete strip foundations: For long-term fixed container houses, concrete strip foundations need to be poured, with a recommended width of 30 to 50 centimeters and a depth determined by the local frost depth. The top surface of the foundation should be kept level, with a height difference of no more than 5 millimeters, providing a uniform load-bearing foundation for the container house and preventing uneven settlement of the box due to local pressure, which could lead to issues such as door and window deformation and wall cracks.

  • Prefabricated concrete pad or steel plate foundations: Suitable for short-term use scenarios, the spacing between pads should not exceed 2 meters, and a crushed stone leveling layer should be laid beneath each pad to ensure that the load-bearing points are on the same horizontal plane. This method is relatively simple to install and has lower costs, but long-term use may lead to issues due to uneven settlement of the pads.

  • Spot pile foundations: Include cement cast-in-place foundation forms, ground screw foundation forms, etc., and can be selected based on actual conditions. This type of foundation is relatively flexible and can adapt to different site conditions.
