Container House Photovoltaic Solution Diagram

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, a direct photovoltaic solution diagram for container houses is not provided, but design can be assisted through solution descriptions and case references. The following provides an explanation from four aspects: design principles, component configuration, typical cases, and diagram acquisition methods.

I. Core Design Principles
The container photovoltaic solution should adhere to the integrated design concept of 'the roof as a power station', directly integrating photovoltaic modules onto the top structure of the container. For installations in the Northern Hemisphere, it is recommended to arrange the modules facing south along the long side of the container to maximize solar radiation reception; the opposite applies in the Southern Hemisphere. The module arrangement should reserve cleaning passages (with a recommended width of ≥0.6 meters) for regular maintenance; at the same time, space for internal equipment compartments should be planned to ensure the coordinated operation of inverters, energy storage batteries, and other equipment with the photovoltaic system. The support system should adopt a compact design, prioritizing aluminum alloy or galvanized steel materials to balance strength and lightweight requirements.

II. Component Configuration and Power Generation Capacity
The number of modules is directly related to power generation capacity: the roof of a 20-foot container can accommodate 6-12 solar panels. If high-efficiency modules above 400W are selected, the power generation capacity can reach 1.8kWp to 3.6kWp; a 40-foot container can install up to 12-24 modules, with a power generation capacity exceeding 6kWp. In practical applications, configurations should be selected based on electricity demand. For example, the African agricultural product cold storage project uses a 40-foot container with 6 modules to support full-day cold chain operations; remote mountain solar medical clinics achieve off-grid power supply and data transmission functions by integrating energy storage and communication equipment.

III. Typical Application Case References

  1. African Agricultural Product Cold Storage Project: A 40-foot container is used, with 6 monocrystalline silicon modules (approximately 550W each) installed on the top, paired with a lead-acid battery energy storage system. The daily power generation meets the full-day operational needs of the cold storage, effectively extending the freshness period of agricultural products.
  2. Remote Mountain Solar Medical Clinic: A 20-foot container photovoltaic system is integrated, configured with 12 modules (total power of 4.8kWp), combined with lithium-ion energy storage batteries and satellite communication equipment, providing stable power and remote medical support to the clinic.

IV. Diagram Acquisition Methods
For specific design drawings, refer to the public materials of the 'Habitat 3.0' project by Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in the International Solar Decathlon (SDC). This project adopts a steel structure modular building technical route, with cadmium telluride modules selected for the photovoltaic panels. Its design drawings provide detailed displays of module layout, support structure, and electrical connections, offering high reference value. Additionally, the official websites of some photovoltaic equipment suppliers (such as LONGi and Trina Solar) also provide standard solution diagrams for container photovoltaic systems, which can be downloaded according to needs.
