Container House Painting Tutorial Diagram

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

When painting container houses, it is essential to select appropriate coatings based on the usage environment, anti-corrosion requirements, and construction conditions, and follow a standardized construction process, including substrate preparation, coating selection, construction methods, and paint film inspection.

1. Coating Selection

  1. External Surface Anti-Corrosion: Typically, a three-layer coating system is used, with epoxy zinc-rich primer as the base coat, epoxy intermediate coat as the middle layer, and acrylic topcoat, chlorinated rubber paint, polyurethane topcoat, or fluorocarbon paint as the finish coat, depending on requirements. These coating combinations provide excellent corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and decorative properties.

  2. Internal Surface Anti-Corrosion: Generally, a two-layer coating system is employed, with epoxy zinc-rich primer as the base coat and epoxy topcoat as the finish coat. Especially when containers are used for storing food, pharmaceuticals, and other items, the epoxy topcoat must comply with relevant food hygiene and safety requirements.

  3. Chassis Anti-Corrosion: The chassis also adopts a two-layer coating system, with epoxy zinc-rich primer as the base coat and modified epoxy chassis paint or asphalt paint as the finish coat to withstand the harsh environments encountered during transportation.

2. Construction Process

  1. Substrate Preparation: All plates and profiles must be Grade A plates conforming to ISO8501 standards and undergo thorough cleaning to remove oil, dust, corrosion, or other contaminants. For welds and other areas, secondary sandblasting is required to remove oxides and splatter.

  2. Coating Application: Control parameters such as dry/wet film thickness, thinning ratio, paint viscosity, and drying conditions according to the coating specification sheet. Construction methods can include airless spraying, rolling, or brushing, depending on the construction scenario and coating type.

  3. Paint Film Inspection: After construction, inspect the paint film for thickness, adhesion, hardness, and other indicators to ensure compliance with standard requirements.

3. Precautions

  • During construction, strictly control environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to ensure proper drying and curing of the coating.
  • Construction personnel must possess relevant professional skills and experience, follow safety operating procedures, and wear appropriate protective equipment.
