Container House Materials

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container house materials mainly include steel, aluminum alloy, glass, plastic, and various sandwich panels, etc..

Steel is the primary structural support material for container houses, covering types such as channel steel, angle steel, and steel plates. It has high strength and good corrosion resistance, ensuring the safety and stability of the house structure. For example, the overall frame of Zeyu's foldable container house uses hot-dip galvanized square tubes, with a compressive strength of 150 - 160kg/m³. It can withstand the stacking load of container houses and extreme weather impacts, adapt to highly corrosive environments, and has a service life of over 20 years.

Aluminum alloy is commonly used for making doors and windows. It has the advantages of being lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, corrosion-resistant, and has good thermal insulation and heat preservation properties, enhancing the comfort of the house.

Glass is mainly used for doors, windows, and observation windows. It has characteristics such as high transparency, good reflectivity, and corrosion resistance, increasing the lighting and view of the house.

Plastic products are widely used in container houses, such as plastic pipes and plastic plates. They have the advantages of being lightweight, easy to process, and cost-effective, meeting the needs of different houses.

In terms of sandwich panels, common types include rock wool sandwich panels, polyurethane sandwich panels, and foam panels. Rock wool sandwich panels have effects such as Class A fire resistance, moisture and corrosion resistance, and sound and thermal insulation. For example, the wall panels of Zeyu's container houses are filled with Class A fire-resistant rock wool, which does not soften or deform at 800℃, releases no toxic smoke in fires, and also enhances the compressive capacity of the wall panels. Polyurethane sandwich panels have thermal insulation and fire resistance properties and are commonly used in packing-box container houses. Foam panels are relatively inexpensive but have inferior fire resistance and other properties compared to rock wool panels.

In addition, the base of container houses is mostly welded from channel steel. Some door and window frames use aluminum alloy materials. The roof may be treated with waterproof coatings and thermal insulation layers, and the floor may be laid with moisture-proof wood-grain panels.
