Container House Lifting Lug

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

A container house lifting lug typically refers to a specialized connecting component used in the lifting operations of container houses. Its core function is to provide a safe and stable attachment point for lifting equipment, ensuring the smooth lifting and precise positioning of container houses during handling and installation.

Design Features of Lifting Lugs

Container house lifting lugs are generally made of high-strength alloy steel, possessing sufficient load-bearing capacity to handle the self-weight of the house and dynamic loads during lifting. Their structure usually includes rotatable or fixed lifting rings, and some designs incorporate anti-slip patterns or locking mechanisms to prevent slippage during lifting. For example, in the field of modular construction, lifting lugs need to be tightly connected to the steel structural framework of container houses to ensure uniform distribution of lifting forces and avoid deformation caused by local stress concentration.

Application Scenarios

  1. Factory Production Stage: During the modular production of container houses, lifting lugs are used to transfer assembled house modules from the production line to transport vehicles or storage areas. For instance, at a smart factory in Guangdong, steel structural modules produced through an automated production line are lifted onto AGV transport vehicles using lifting lugs and then transported to the dock.
  2. Transportation and Installation Stage: After container houses arrive at their destinations by sea or land transport, lifting lugs are key tools for on-site assembly. For example, in a modular hotel project in Papua New Guinea, lifting lugs assisted in lifting 60 container house modules from a cargo ship onto foundations and completing the overall assembly through precise alignment.
  3. Temporary Use Adjustments: For container houses that require multiple relocations (such as construction site offices or temporary shops), lifting lugs enable quick disassembly and reuse, reducing relocation costs.

Safety Requirements

The design of lifting lugs must comply with international safety standards (such as ISO standards), and their load-bearing capacity must be certified by a third party. For example, for a 3×6-meter container house used at a construction site in Inner Mongolia, its lifting lugs must pass a static load test with a 1.5-times safety factor to ensure no breakage or detachment occurs under extreme working conditions. Additionally, before lifting operations, it is necessary to check whether the connecting bolts between the lifting lug and the house framework are tightened to avoid accidents caused by looseness.
