What are the Steps for Container House Installation

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

Container house installation mainly includes steps such as foundation preparation, main body assembly, installation of supporting facilities, and acceptance inspection.

Foundation preparation is the first step in the installation process. It is essential to ensure that the ground is level and solid. Foundation treatment should be carried out according to design requirements, such as pouring concrete foundations or laying tooling platforms. For container houses intended for long-term use, it is also necessary to embed drainage pipes and set up concrete piers to enhance stability. After foundation completion, precise measurements should be taken to ensure that the axis dimensions and wall height deviations are within the allowable range, providing an accurate reference for subsequent installation.

Main body assembly is the core step of the installation. First, connect the container bottom frame to the bottom beam, secure it with hexagon socket bolts, and adjust the verticality to ensure that the diagonal difference of the bottom frame is ≤3mm. Then, install the π-shaped secondary beams and floor base plates, lay and fix the floor, paying attention to aligning the joints with the centerline of the beams. For multi-story container houses, special lifting equipment should be used to hoist the containers to the predetermined positions, and inter-layer fixation should be carried out using angle steel gusset plates or bolts to ensure structural stability. During the assembly process, special attention should be paid to the verticality and straightness of the steel beams, as well as whether the component dimensions meet the specified requirements.

Installation of supporting facilities includes water and electricity pipelines, doors and windows, furniture, etc. Water and electricity pipelines should be reasonably laid out and firmly connected to ensure safety in use. Doors and windows should be installed tightly without gaps and undergo waterproof treatment. In addition, sanitary ware, small hardware, and other accessories should be installed to complete the functionality of the house. For foldable container houses, support rods should be installed after unfolding to maintain stability, and all screws should be tightened.

Acceptance inspection is the final step in the installation process. The construction unit should first conduct a self-inspection to ensure that the project quality meets the requirements. Subsequently, relevant departments should be invited to conduct an acceptance inspection to check whether the appearance, dimensions, structure, connection firmness, and water and electricity installation of the container house meet the design requirements and relevant standards. The house can only be delivered for use after passing the acceptance inspection.
