Container House Installation Base

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The installation base of a container house is usually welded from steel materials such as channel steel and square tubes, serving as the supporting framework for the entire house and providing stability and load-bearing capacity.

Base Materials and Structure

  • Channel Steel: Often used for welding the main crossbeams around the top and bottom of the container, similar to the ring beams in traditional house construction. For example, using 5X10 channel steel provides sufficient strength and stability to support the weight of the entire house.
  • Square Tubes: Used in conjunction with channel steel to form the framework of the base, enhancing overall stability.
  • Other Materials: Depending on specific requirements, the base may also include materials such as corrugated sheets and fire-resistant flooring to provide additional functionality and safety.

Base Installation Steps

  • Connecting the Bottom Corners to the Base Beams: On a flat surface, use hexagon socket bolts to connect the bottom corners of the container to the base beams, but do not tighten them yet for subsequent adjustments.
  • Adjusting and Tightening: After alignment, ensure that the diagonal differences of the base framework are within the allowable range (e.g., ≤3mm), then tighten the bolts to ensure the flatness and stability of the base.
  • Installing Secondary Beams and Flooring: Install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positions of the定位孔 (alignment holes) on the main beams and secure them with self-tapping screws. Then lay the floor substrate in a specific direction, and fix it with nails at the joints and where it overlaps with the centerline of the π-shaped beams.

Functions and Importance of the Base

  • Supporting Role: The base is the supporting structure of the entire container house, and its stability directly affects the overall safety and service life of the house.
  • Drainage and Moisture Resistance: A well-designed base, such as one with a water baffle, can effectively prevent rainwater and moisture from infiltrating the interior of the house, protecting the living environment and property of the occupants.
  • Facilitating Installation and Mobility: Standardized base design makes the installation and movement of container houses more convenient and efficient, adapting to different usage scenarios.
