Hoisting of Container Houses
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
Container houses can be hoisted as a whole using professional hoisting equipment (such as gantry cranes and truck cranes). The hoisting process and key points are as follows:

I. Hoisting Principles and Equipment Selection
Container houses are derived from the design of freight containers, featuring high-strength steel structural frames that offer pressure resistance, wind resistance, and corrosion resistance. Their modular structures are connected through standard components via welding or bolting, providing strong integrity and the ability to withstand the tension and pressure during hoisting.
Commonly used hoisting equipment:
- Gantry cranes: Suitable for large venues such as ports and logistics parks, gantry cranes achieve precise positioning (with millimeter-level accuracy) through remote control systems and can operate multiple units simultaneously to enhance efficiency. For example, Zhongding Logistics Park employs an intelligent remote control system for gantry cranes, which uses 29 cameras and 25 sensors to provide feedback, allowing operators in the remote control room to complete the entire process of grabbing, lifting, and placing containers.
- Truck cranes: Suitable for flexible scenarios such as construction sites and suburbs, truck cranes connect to the hoisting points on the top of containers using steel wire ropes and lifting devices, then stabilize them by fixing support rods after smooth deployment. For example, the residential containers used at construction sites in Beijing feature fully welded structures, with box units connected by bolts, making hoisting convenient and safe.
II. Hoisting Process and Operating Specifications
- Preliminary inspection:
- Confirm the structural integrity of the container house and check whether the welding points or bolt connections are secure.
- Inspect the stability of the hoisting equipment (such as steel wire ropes, lifting devices, and support rods) to avoid the risk of breakage.
- Main body hoisting:
- Use professional lifting devices to connect to the hoisting points on the top of the container and slowly lift it to a safe height (avoiding collisions with surrounding objects).
- When deploying the box, place support rods in the middle to maintain stability and prevent deformation.
- Wall installation:
- Push open one wall, tighten it with fastening screws, and then install walls with doors and windows to ensure airtightness.
- Positioning and fixation:
- After hoisting the container to the predetermined position, confirm that there are no people around before slowly lowering it.
- Form usable space by combining horizontally and vertically (with a maximum of three layers stacked vertically), and enhance stability by connecting the boxes with bolts.
III. Safety Precautions
- Evacuation of non-operators: During hoisting, non-professional personnel must stay away from the installation area to avoid accidents caused by wire rope breakage or container slippage.
- Environmental confirmation: Check the flatness and load-bearing capacity of the ground to prevent tilting or sinking during hoisting.
- Equipment maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the hoisting equipment to ensure that auxiliary systems such as sensors and cameras are sensitive and reliable.
