Container House Hoisting Demonstration
The container house hoisting demonstration mainly involves the installation and hoisting processes of foldable, large-scale energy storage, and prefabricated modular container houses, with core steps and precautions as follows:

1. Hoisting of Foldable Container Mobile Homes
These homes are characterized by their lightweight and quick installation. The hoisting process typically consists of three steps:
- Preparation Stage: Check the stability of the steel wire ropes, lift the main frame and unfold it smoothly, and place support rods in the middle of the box to maintain structural stability.
- Wall Installation: Push open the walls on both sides (including doors and windows) in sequence and secure them with fastening screws to ensure a firm connection.
- Positioning and Placement: Hoist the folded container home to the predetermined location, confirm that there are no people around, and then lower it slowly to avoid collisions or tipping.
Key Points: Non-professionals should stay away from the hoisting area to prevent the risk of falling objects or equipment tipping.
2. Hoisting of Large-Scale Energy Storage Containers
For power storage scenarios, these containers are large and heavy, requiring professional equipment and standardized operations for hoisting:
- Hoisting Point Selection: Depending on the design, use a bottom-兜底 (bottom-supporting) or lifting ring method to ensure even force distribution and prevent box deformation.
- Equipment Matching: Use heavy-duty equipment such as cranes, and ensure that the lifting ropes have passed safety certification and have a load-bearing capacity greater than the total weight of the box.
- Environmental Control: Clear the site before hoisting to ensure a flat ground surface; delineate a warning area during operations and prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering.
Typical Case: The hoisting of a 23-meter energy storage prefabricated cabin requires the coordination of two vehicles, with precise calculation of the center of gravity and lifting rope angles to complete the operation.
3. Hoisting of Prefabricated Modular Container Houses
These houses are fully decorated in the factory and only require assembly and hoisting on-site:
- Modular Design: The boxes are divided into standard-sized units (such as 6 meters and 14 meters) and connected to form an overall structure through welding or bolts.
- Lightweight Optimization: High-strength steel is used to reduce the weight of the frame, lowering transportation and hoisting costs.
- On-Site Assembly: After being hoisted to the designated location, they are fixed with inter-layer connectors (such as bolts and welding) to form a multi-story building.
Advantages: In the Nantong project, 96 containers were used to build a three-story office building in 11 days, significantly shortening the construction period and reducing on-site work volume.
Balancing Safety and Efficiency
All hoisting operations must follow the principle of 'inspect first, then operate', with a focus on checking the lifting ropes, equipment status, and environmental conditions. For example, the installation of a foldable container only takes 3 minutes but requires two people to work together; while the hoisting of a large-scale energy storage container requires longer planning and equipment debugging. Through modular design and factory prefabrication, container house hoisting has achieved an efficient and low-carbon industrial construction model.
