Floor Construction Methods for Container Houses

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

The floor construction methods for container houses can refer to the common structures of heavy-duty warehouse floors or rigid floors, and the following plans can be selected according to actual needs:

I. Epoxy Mortar Floor (Suitable for high-strength and heavy-load scenarios)

  1. Layered Structure

    • Base Treatment: The concrete base needs to be polished flat, with cracks and holes repaired. Ensure that the strength is ≥C25, cured for more than 28 days, and the moisture content is ≤6%.
    • Epoxy Penetrating Primer: Seal the base, enhance adhesion, and prevent moisture from rising.
    • Epoxy Mortar Load-Bearing Layer: Quartz sand is mixed with epoxy intermediate coating and troweled. The thickness is formed in 1-3 passes, with a compressive strength of over 70MPa, capable of withstanding the rolling of heavy forklifts.
    • Fine Putty Layer: Seal the sand holes, level the base surface, and improve flatness.
    • Wear-Resistant Topcoat Layer: Dustproof, stain-resistant, and wear-resistant, enhancing overall durability.
  2. Construction Points

    • The ambient temperature should be controlled between 5℃ and 35℃, with a relative humidity of ≤80%. Avoid construction on rainy days or in humid weather.
    • For basements or the first floor, add a PE moisture-proof film to block moisture penetration.

II. Rigid Floor (Suitable for cost-effective scenarios)

  1. Layered Structure

    • Base: Compact the original soil or compact the fill in layers to ensure uniform bearing capacity of the foundation.
    • Cushion Layer: Use a 60-100mm thick C10 concrete cushion layer or add a graded crushed stone cushion layer (thickness adjusted according to the load).
    • Surface Layer: Directly pour fine aggregate concrete (thickness 50-100mm), and polish the surface to meet basic wear resistance requirements.
  2. Construction Points

    • A steel mesh can be added between the cushion layer and the surface layer to enhance crack resistance.
    • For large areas, temperature expansion joints should be set to prevent concrete shrinkage cracking.

III. Optimization Plans for Special Scenarios

  1. Cold Storage or Humid Environments

    • Lay a PE moisture-proof film between the base and the cushion layer, or use an extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation layer to reduce the cold bridge effect.
    • For the surface layer, use diamond abrasive wear-resistant aggregates for simultaneous pouring and troweling to enhance impact resistance.
  2. High Flatness Requirements

    • Refer to the ultra-large high-precision floor construction process in factories, using a laser screed for construction, with a flatness error controlled within 2mm/1m.
    • Add metal armored joints to divide large-area floors and reduce cracking caused by temperature stress.

Selection Suggestions:

  • If the container house needs to carry heavy equipment or frequent traffic, prioritize epoxy mortar floors;
  • For ordinary storage or residential purposes, rigid floors can meet the requirements;
  • In humid or low-temperature environments, strengthen moisture-proof and insulation structures.
