Methods for Fixing Container Houses
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
The methods for fixing container houses mainly include three categories: ground foundation fixing, structural connection fixing, and special device fixing.

Ground Foundation Fixing
Ground foundation fixing is the basis for securing container houses and requires different methods depending on the usage scenario:
- Long-term Fixing: Requires pouring a concrete strip foundation with a recommended width of 30 cm to 50 cm. The depth should be determined based on the local frost depth. The horizontal error of the foundation top surface should be controlled within 2 mm per meter.
- Short-term Fixing: Prefabricated concrete pads or steel plates can be used, with a spacing of no more than 2 meters between pads. A crushed stone leveling layer should be laid beneath to ensure that the load-bearing points are on the same horizontal plane.
- Bottom Beam Fit Adjustment: After the container is positioned, check the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pads. If there is any local suspension, use thin steel plates to fill the gaps to prevent vibration or abnormal noise in the floor due to uneven force distribution during subsequent use.
Structural Connection Fixing
Structural connection fixing enhances the stability of the container house itself:
- Welded Containers: The roof load is transferred through the side wall columns to the bottom beam and then evenly distributed to the ground. The overall load path is direct, with strong resistance to deformation, making it suitable for frequent lifting and moving scenarios.
- Bolt-connected Modular Containers: Check the steel wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams, with common specifications ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. Thicker walls provide greater load-bearing redundancy. During installation, use hexagon socket bolts to connect the container corners to the bottom beam. After alignment, tighten the bolts to ensure that the diagonal difference of the bottom frame is ≤ 3 mm.
Special Device Fixing
Special device fixing is designed for multi-container combinations or special scenarios:
- Steel Wire Rope Clamping Device: Use steel wire rope guides to clamp the steel wire rope around a row of containers. Use steel wire rope clips to restrict the rotation of the steel wire rope, and then tighten the steel wire rope by twisting a steel rod to achieve temporary clamping of the entire row of containers.
- Bridge Locks and Lashing Rods: Install bridge locks on the two upward-facing corner fittings where the containers are in close contact to secure the entire row of containers as one unit. One end of the lashing rod is inserted into the side holes of the four corners of the container, and the other end is tied to the deck fittings to enhance structural stability.
