Container House with Extra-Large Balcony

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container houses can be designed with extra-large balconies, offering various implementation methods and design highlights.

I. Balcony Space Layout The balcony space layout of container houses is flexible and diverse, allowing for different designs based on needs. For example, some container villas divide the open balcony into two levels: the top level is a large platform made of wooden planks, surrounded by pure black metal railings for added sophistication and safety. In the center, there is a gathering area for multiple people, furnished with black metal chairs and a dark blue carpet. The lower-level balcony is more recreational, featuring a large swimming pool on one side for cooling off and swimming, and a small bonfire setup with surrounding chairs on the other side, perfect for evening barbecues and conversations. Other container houses expand the open balcony area on the roof, designing it as an outdoor recreational space with winding gravel paths and neon light chains.

II. Balcony Design Features

  • Opening and Closing Design: Mobile container sunrooms adopt a telescopic folding design, with a sliding rail system installed on the track. The opening area can reach up to 60%, allowing for a switch between open-air and sunroom states. When the weather is good, it can be opened for ventilation and heat dissipation; when closed, it provides shelter from wind, rain, and warmth. The opening and closing methods include manual and electric models. Small sizes can be designed as manual, while large sizes are recommended to be electric, equipped with a remote control for one-button opening and closing.
  • Safe Material Selection: As an outdoor structure, the safety of the sunroom is crucial. Its frame often uses aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, with strength comparable to steel structures. The surface is treated with powder coating and electrophoretic processes to withstand extreme conditions such as wind pressure, snow pressure, and hail. The panels tend to be German Bayer PC panels, which are half the weight of glass, with a light transmittance of up to 82%, and an impact resistance 2-20 times that of tempered glass, ensuring easy movement and safety.

III. Balcony Functional Uses The balconies of container houses have diverse functions. In commercial settings, container mobile sunrooms can be equipped with tables, chairs, bars, etc., and are widely used in cafes, creative restaurants, street-side shops, etc., breaking the traditional store business model. They can remain open-air most of the time and close according to weather changes, enabling year-round multi-time-slot operations. In home settings, they can be transformed into curved sunrooms against walls, commonly found on balconies, patios, and terraces of high-end residential areas and villas. They can be arranged as tea rooms for people to drink tea, chat, or enjoy nature alone.
