External Water Inlet for Container Houses

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The external water inlet for container houses requires different methods to be selected according to the usage scenario and compliance with safety regulations, specifically divided into temporary water supply and long-term water supply situations.

Temporary Water Supply

Temporary water supply is suitable for short-term usage scenarios, such as construction site dormitories and temporary watch posts. There are three main water supply methods:

  • Connecting to the municipal water supply pipeline: This is a relatively convenient method, allowing direct connection from nearby municipal water supply pipelines or existing water supply systems. The pipeline material should be PPR or PVC, which have advantages such as corrosion resistance and pressure resistance, meeting the needs of temporary water supply. At the same time, proper anti-freezing and anti-leakage measures for the pipeline should be taken to avoid issues like pipeline freezing and cracking or water leakage in cold weather or during use. Additionally, installing a water meter facilitates the measurement of water consumption for easy management.
  • Installing a temporary water pump to extract groundwater: If there is an underground water source nearby, a temporary water pump can be installed for extraction. However, it should be noted that extracting groundwater must comply with local regulations to avoid problems such as excessive extraction leading to a drop in the groundwater level. Moreover, the extracted groundwater may contain impurities and requires simple filtration treatment before use.
  • Using water storage tanks for water supply: Water storage tanks can be purchased or rented to store water for use. The water storage tanks should be regularly cleaned and disinfected to ensure the safety of drinking water. At the same time, an appropriate location should be selected to place the water storage tanks to ensure their stability and prevent tipping and causing danger.

Long-term Water Supply

Long-term water supply is suitable for long-term usage scenarios, such as temporary residences and office buildings.

  • Connecting to the municipal water supply pipeline: Construction should be carried out in accordance with national water supply and drainage regulations to ensure the safety and stability of the water supply system. Installing a pressure reducing valve can prevent damage to pipelines and water-using equipment caused by excessive water pressure; installing a filter can filter out impurities in the water to ensure that the water quality meets the standards.
  • Establishing a proper drainage system: Domestic sewage needs to be connected to the municipal sewage pipeline network or sewage treatment equipment. If connected to the municipal sewage pipeline network, ensure that the pipeline connections are correct and well-sealed to prevent sewage leakage and environmental pollution. If using sewage treatment equipment, regular maintenance and cleaning should be carried out to ensure its normal operation.

If the connection of water and electricity to the municipal pipeline network is involved, it is necessary to apply to the water supply and power supply departments and go through the procedures for account opening and connection to ensure compliant use.
