Materials for Exterior Wall Panels of Container Houses

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The main materials for exterior wall panels of container houses include galvanized corrugated sheets, color-steel composite panels, and bamboo-wood fiber panels, among others.

Galvanized Corrugated Sheets: These are one of the primary materials for the exterior wall panels of container houses. This type of steel sheet undergoes hot-dip galvanizing treatment, with a zinc film thickness on the surface reaching 12 to 15 micrometers, providing excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Its wavy design, with a wave width of 208 millimeters and a wave depth of 36 millimeters, enables a 1.6-millimeter-thick steel sheet to easily withstand the stacking pressure of three layers of containers, offering high structural strength and suitability for container house exterior walls with high load-bearing requirements. Meanwhile, the corrugated sheets are pressed from galvanized patterned sheets, not only providing corrosion resistance and wear resistance but also being usable for decorative panels on container iron sheets, combining practicality with a certain degree of aesthetics.

Color-Steel Composite Panels: The surface is usually made into an orange-peel pattern, which can quickly drain rainwater, preventing water accumulation from damaging the panels and extending their service life. In high-end container houses, color-steel composite panels are highly favored. When insulation is required, rock wool, an A-grade fireproof material, is sandwiched between two layers of steel sheets. Rock wool has good thermal insulation properties, effectively reducing heat exchange between the indoor and outdoor environments and lowering energy consumption. At the same time, it offers excellent sound insulation, enhancing the living comfort of container houses. Moreover, it can withstand temperatures up to 800 degrees Celsius, providing outstanding fire resistance and ensuring居住 safety (living safety).

Bamboo-Wood Fiber Panels: These have gradually become popular in the field of container houses in recent years. This material has moisture-proof properties, effectively resisting erosion from humid environments and avoiding issues such as deformation and mold caused by moisture, ensuring the service life of the house. Meanwhile, bamboo-wood fiber panels are lightweight, facilitating easy installation and disassembly, making them particularly suitable for interior decoration of container houses and creating a warm and comfortable indoor environment for occupants.
