Easy Assembly of Container Houses

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The easy assembly of container houses requires following core steps such as purchasing, ground treatment, hoisting and positioning, structural assembly and fixation. The specific operation points are as follows:

1. Purchasing Stage: Clarify Structural Types and Material Standards

Container houses come in two structural types: welded integral containers and bolt-connected assembled containers. Welded containers are formed by integral welding in the factory, with a direct force path and strong resistance to deformation, making them suitable for frequent hoisting and movement. Assembled containers use standard plates connected by bolts, and it is necessary to focus on checking the tightness of the connection nodes. In terms of materials, the wall thickness of the steel columns and bottom beams directly affects the load-bearing capacity. Common specifications range from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. The thicker the wall thickness, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the self-weight also increases accordingly. In addition, the coating process on the container surface must meet anti-corrosion requirements. Hot-dip galvanizing has a longer anti-corrosion lifespan than cold-dip galvanizing. Especially in areas with large temperature differences between day and night and significant humidity changes, the coating quality directly determines the rusting speed of the container.

2. Ground Treatment: Provide a Uniform Load-Bearing Foundation

The bottom beams of container houses are usually I-beams or channel beams, with limited contact area with the ground. If placed directly on soft soil, local pressure will cause uneven settlement of the container, leading to deformation of doors and windows and cracks in the walls. For containers used for long-term fixed purposes, a concrete strip foundation should be poured. The recommended width is 30 cm to 50 cm, and the depth should be determined according to the thickness of the local permafrost layer. The top surface of the foundation should be kept level, with a height difference of no more than 5 mm. For short-term use scenarios, precast concrete pads or steel pads can be used. The spacing between the pads should not exceed 2 m, and a gravel leveling layer should be laid under each pad to ensure that the force points are on the same horizontal plane.

3. Hoisting and Positioning: Control Contact Status and Levelness

When hoisting, steel wire ropes with sufficient load-bearing capacity should be used, and it should be ensured that all hoisting points are subjected to force simultaneously to avoid distortion of the container due to unilateral force. After the container is placed in position, the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pad should be checked immediately. If there is local suspension, it should be padded with thin steel sheets. Otherwise, the floor will vibrate or make abnormal noises due to uneven force during subsequent use. The levelness error should be controlled within 2 mm per meter, which can be detected along the longitudinal and transverse directions of the bottom beam using a level ruler.

4. Structural Assembly and Fixation: Ensure Node Tightness and Overall Stability

When assembling the steel structure, square tubes and steel beams should be assembled with screws, and all screws must be tightened. Check whether the steel beams are vertical and straight and whether the component dimensions meet the specified requirements. When installing wall panels, positions should be reserved for doors and windows. After the exterior walls are installed, the roof panels should be installed, and waterproofing treatment should be carried out after the roof panels are installed. When installing doors and windows, attention should be paid to tightness to avoid gaps with the wall panels. After the windows are installed, waterproofing treatment should be carried out, and the doors should be kept straight.
