Container House Drainage Installation
The drainage installation of container houses should be carried out in combination with the structural characteristics of the house, reasonably plan the pipeline route, and do a good job of waterproofing and moisture-proofing. You can refer to the installation method of rainwater pipes in traditional houses and optimize it according to the characteristics of container houses.

I. Key Points of Drainage Installation in Container Houses
Rainwater Pipe Installation
The installation of rainwater pipes in container houses usually starts from the bottom, and attention should be paid to the protruding part of the reducing joint at the bottom of the pipe. During installation, the middle part of the water pipe can be pulled into a bow shape, symmetrically aligned with the water inlet hole, and then relaxed to make it naturally fit the container structure. If hidden installation (burying the pipes inside the wall) is adopted, the pipes need to be pre-buried during the main construction stage of the house, and hidden through wall masonry. However, it should be noted that hidden installation may affect later maintenance, and the pipeline route and position need to be planned in advance.Sewage Pipe Installation
The sewage pipes in the kitchen and bathroom need to be set up separately. The kitchen pipes, due to a large amount of oil stains, should avoid being connected with other drainage pipes; the bathroom sewage pipes need to be connected to drainage branches such as toilets, floor drains, and washbasins, and finally converge into the main drainage pipe. The sewage pipes of container houses are usually installed vertically downward along the corner of the wall, and the bottom is connected to the outdoor sewage inspection well or municipal pipe network. If the container house is located outdoors, drainage ditches need to be excavated around the container body to prevent water accumulation.
II. Precautions for Drainage Installation in Container Houses
Drainage Slope Design
The roof of the container house needs to be designed with a drainage slope to guide rainwater to the drainage outlet. A rainwater hopper should be installed at the drainage outlet position and connected to the exterior wall rainwater pipe to ensure smooth drainage.Waterproofing and Moisture-proofing Treatment
Container houses are made of iron structures and require good waterproofing and moisture-proofing treatment. During installation, the ground level should be higher than the surrounding environment, and drainage ditches should be excavated around the container body. During the summer rainy season, a gable-shaped canopy can be added on top of the container to prevent rainwater accumulation.Pipe Fixing and Sealing
The pipes need to be firmly fixed during installation to avoid loosening or displacement. The connection points should be treated with sealing tape or sealant to prevent leakage. If hidden installation is adopted, space for the pipes should be reserved during wall masonry, and it should be ensured that there are no gaps between the pipes and the wall.
