Decoration Steps for Container Houses

The decoration steps for container houses mainly include four aspects: water and electricity installation, wall insulation layer treatment, interior decoration, and exterior decoration.

Water and Electricity Installation: This is the foundational step in decoration. When laying electrical wires, choose insulated PP pipes and thread the wires through the walls to ensure electrical safety. For water pipes, plan the layout in advance and use high-quality pipes for installation to avoid issues like water leakage later on. Additionally, install a main switch for the electrical panel and water valves inside the container for easy control and management of water and electricity.

Wall Insulation Layer: In terms of material selection, thicker and denser rock wool boards are commonly used and effective insulation layer materials. When installing, place the rock wool boards on the inner side of the container and secure them with a nail gun to effectively improve the container's insulation, heat resistance, and soundproofing properties. There are also other methods, such as applying glue to the back of foam boards and sticking them to the inner walls of the container, cutting and filling any gaps to ensure the entire container is tightly sealed, then installing gypsum boards adjacent to the foam boards to enhance wall stability and aesthetics, and finally applying putty to the seams and sanding them smooth; or first fixing light steel keels, installing concealed water and electricity works, after the water and electricity piping is completed, using foam boards as a base for the ceiling and covering them with OSB boards, applying torch-on membrane waterproofing, filling with foam adhesive, and then finishing with a denser decorative paper, and finally covering the outer layer with gypsum boards.

Interior Decoration:

• Ceiling Decoration: Choose aesthetically pleasing ceiling materials to decorate the top of the container and install desired lighting fixtures to enhance indoor aesthetics and lighting effects.
• Flooring Installation: It is recommended to use tiles for flooring to increase the weight of the house and improve safety; alternatively, wooden floors can be chosen based on personal preference and needs.
• Other Decorations: Cut square openings on the side walls of the container to install exhaust fans for ventilation; before installing workbenches, divide the walls into different colors with paint, install support brackets and work platforms, and equip them with lighting, air conditioners, etc.

Exterior Decoration: Weld a sunshade canopy using square steel and color-coated steel sheets on the top of the container to provide shade and rain protection while safeguarding the container. Alternatively, segmentally cut the container and install aluminum alloy windows and glass doors; or cut openings in the container and install solid wood doors and skylight windows.
