Container House Construction Atlas

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there is no publicly available container house construction atlas, but the construction methods of container houses can be understood through practical cases, design points, and construction processes.

Practical Case References

  • Jiangsu Small Town Container House: The homeowner used two containers to build a house on the original foundation, with reasonable internal space planning and air conditioning installed for comfortable living.
  • Danish Container Mansion: Constructed using 9 containers, featuring numerous large windows to provide natural light and retaining the unique corrugated metal interior walls and ceilings of the containers.
  • Foreign Mountain Resort Hotel: Composed of 6 containers, built on a mountain according to the terrain, with a natural courtyard formed between two blocks. The rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows and interior decorations similar to residential homes.
  • Costa Rican Single-Story Small Mansion: Constructed by joining two containers, with an open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Large floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights provide good lighting, and the roof is equipped with a solar photovoltaic power generation system.

Design Points

  • Space Planning: Reasonably plan the internal space according to needs, such as opening up the living room, dining room, and kitchen to increase the sense of space.
  • Lighting Design: Design numerous large windows and skylights to provide natural light and improve indoor lighting conditions.
  • Thermal Insulation: According to local temperature conditions, install internal insulation layers to ensure warmth in winter and coolness in summer.
  • Energy Supply: Install a solar photovoltaic power generation system to achieve self-sufficiency in electricity.

Construction Process

  • Foundation Construction: Conduct pile foundation construction, with containers placed on piles without touching the ground to provide moisture and thermal insulation.
  • Container Joining: Join the containers together, opening up the internal space to increase usable area.
  • Interior Decoration: Install doors, windows, and lights, and carry out interior wooden frame installation, insulation layer construction, and partition wall construction.
  • Equipment Installation: Install air conditioning, solar photovoltaic power generation systems, rainwater collection systems, septic tank systems, and other equipment.
