Container House Configuration List

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The configurations of container houses vary depending on their purpose, design, and manufacturer. Here are some common configurations:

I. Basic Structural Configuration

The basic structure of a container house typically uses the frame of a standard shipping container, such as a 20-foot or 40-foot unit. These frames are reinforced to ensure structural stability and comply with building seismic design codes. For example, some container houses use a fully steel structural frame with weld strengths meeting relevant standards, enabling them to maintain structural safety under the force of a 12-level strong wind.

II. Internal Space Layout

The internal space layout is designed according to usage requirements. Common layouts include single-person offices, dormitories, and shops. For residential purposes, container houses can be designed as two-bedroom, two-living room units or three-bedroom, one-living room units to meet the living needs of different numbers of people. The internal space is divided by partitions to form functional areas such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.

III. Facility Configuration

  1. Bedroom Facilities: Typically equipped with furniture such as beds, wardrobes, and desks, as well as convenience facilities like sockets, reading lights, and coat hooks. Some designs also use space capsule-style beds to save space and meet personal privacy needs.

  2. Living and Dining Room Facilities: The living and dining area may be equipped with entertainment and dining facilities such as sofas, dining tables, and televisions. Some designs also adopt KTV booth-style designs to enhance the entertainment experience.

  3. Kitchen Facilities: The kitchen is usually equipped with basic facilities such as refrigerators, stoves, and sinks to meet cooking needs.

  4. Bathroom Facilities: The bathroom area is separated into wet and dry zones and equipped with facilities such as showers, squat toilets or toilets, washing machines, and washbasins.

IV. Special Configurations

According to specific needs, container houses can also be specially configured. For example, some container houses are designed as towable trailers, equipped with water tanks, batteries, and other equipment; others are designed as expandable units according to overseas project requirements to balance transportation efficiency and usable area.
