Condensate Water in Container Houses

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The issue of condensate water in container houses can be resolved by controlling humidity, temperature differences, and optimizing structural design. Here are the specific methods:

Controlling Humidity and Air Circulation

The formation of condensate water requires high moisture content in the air, a significant temperature difference between the interior and exterior of the cabin, and water vapor condensing on cold surfaces. Therefore, blocking the entry of external air is crucial. For example, if the inlet/outlet ports of the primary liquid-cooling pipes in a liquid-cooled energy storage battery container are not fully sealed, external humid air can enter the cabin, increasing moisture content. Sealing these ports can effectively reduce the entry of external moisture. Additionally, if the container is equipped with a dehumidifying air conditioner, the dehumidification function should be activated to lower the cabin's air humidity through air conditioning dehumidification, thereby disrupting the conditions for condensate water formation.

Reducing Temperature Difference Effects

Temperature difference is another important factor in condensate water formation. In liquid-cooled energy storage battery containers, if certain areas inside the cabin are not equipped with battery packs, such as empty spaces at the back, local temperature differences can occur. Simple isolation measures can be taken, such as using cardboard boxes to separate the cabin areas with battery clusters from those without, reducing air circulation and temperature difference transmission. For condensate water issues beneath cold storage rooms, insulation panels can be installed on the ceiling to block the downward transmission of cold storage temperatures, preventing the ceiling temperature from dropping below the dew point and reducing condensate water generation.

Optimizing Container Structural Design

Preventing condensate water issues at the design level is more effective. For example, the protection level of liquid-cooled battery packs should be IP67 to ensure that moisture cannot enter; the selection of explosion-proof pressure relief valves on battery packs should include breathing functionality and the ability to filter small water droplets from the air. Additionally, some manufacturers install isolation steel plates between battery packs and DC control boxes to further reduce the impact of temperature differences and moisture. For condensate water issues on the top of containers, drainage devices such as drainage blocks can be used to guide condensate water condensed on the top beams to drip down, preventing accumulation.
