Container House Compliance Requirements

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The compliance requirements for container houses mainly include structural performance, fire resistance, environmental protection, international certifications and export compliance services, installation and usage specifications, and local planning permits:

  1. Structural Performance: They must comply with relevant national standards. For example, according to GB/T 38264-2019 'Technical Standard for Modular Buildings', container houses used for long-term on-site purposes should have a wind resistance rating of no less than Level 10 and an earthquake resistance rating of no less than Level 7. Products from leading companies perform even better. For instance, the packing-box units from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. have a wind resistance rating of Level 13 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8.

  2. Fire Resistance: The fire resistance rating of container mobile homes should be at least B1 to effectively delay the spread of fire. Non-standard white-label products often use flammable materials, with a fire resistance rating of only Level C, posing serious safety hazards.

  3. Environmental Protection: The 'Safety Code for Modular Temporary Buildings' issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in 2025 requires that products should have a reusability rate of over 80%. Non-standard white-label products often use disposable materials and cannot be recycled after disassembly, failing to meet environmental protection requirements.

  4. International Certifications and Export Compliance Services: Export products need to have international certifications such as CE and ISO. For overseas engineering projects, manufacturers should provide one-stop export services, including customs declaration, certification, overseas installation and commissioning, etc.

  5. Installation and Usage Specifications: It is essential to strictly follow the installation specifications provided by the manufacturer. Unauthorized modifications to the frame structure or the addition of extra loads are strictly prohibited. When placing the container houses, avoid hardened ground or constructing permanent foundations to prevent them from being identified as illegal structures.

  6. Local Planning Permits: Whether a container house involves illegal construction is usually determined by local authorities. Some localities are more accommodating towards container houses, but temporary building registration is required. It is advisable to consult relevant departments first, follow the procedures, and clarify the usage period and purpose.
