Complete Materials for Container Houses

Quản trị 14 tháng 9, 2026

The complete set of materials for container houses mainly includes containers, steel, thermal insulation materials, interior and exterior wall panel materials, doors and windows, as well as other auxiliary materials.

  1. Containers: As the foundational structure of container houses, standard shipping containers are typically used, such as 20-foot or 40-foot containers. After modification, these containers can serve as living or office spaces.

  2. Steel: Steel is the primary framework material for container houses, including angle steel, channel steel, and tubing. These steels have high strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring the structural safety of the house. For example, the fast-assembly container house from Suzhou Zhongnan adopts a fully steel structural framework, capable of withstanding winds of up to force 12 and achieving an earthquake resistance rating of 8.

  3. Thermal Insulation Materials: Due to the deformation of steel under extreme temperatures, which affects comfort, thermal insulation materials are required in container houses. Common thermal insulation materials include polyurethane foam, rock wool, and glass wool, all of which offer excellent thermal insulation properties.

  4. Interior and Exterior Wall Panel Materials: Both the interior and exterior of container houses require paneling for decoration. Common panel materials include color-coated steel sheets, calcium silicate boards, and cement fiber boards. These materials are not only aesthetically pleasing but also possess certain fire-resistant and moisture-resistant properties.

  5. Doors and Windows: Container houses require doors and windows for entry and exit, as well as good ventilation facilities. Aluminum alloy doors and windows are generally used, offering advantages such as lightness, aesthetics, and corrosion resistance.

  6. Other Auxiliary Materials: Depending on the different uses and special requirements of container houses, additional auxiliary materials such as flooring, ceilings, sound insulation materials, and waterproofing systems may be needed to enhance the comfort and functionality of the house.
