Common Guide for Container Houses
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
The common guide for container houses covers multiple aspects such as purchase, installation, use, and maintenance. Here are some key points:

Purchase Stage
- Structural Types: Common types include welded integral containers and bolt-connected assembled containers. Welded containers have strong deformation resistance and are suitable for frequent lifting and moving. For assembled containers, check the wall thickness of the steel materials for the columns and bottom beams, with common specifications ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. The thicker the wall, the greater the load-bearing redundancy.
- Coating Process: Hot-dip galvanizing offers a longer anti-corrosion lifespan than cold-dip galvanizing, especially in areas with large temperature differences between day and night and significant humidity changes. The quality of the coating determines the rusting speed of the container body.
- Usage and Configuration: Choose according to the usage scenario. For residential use, add insulation layers and sanitary facilities, and equip with an independent water and electricity system. For office use, equip with basic doors, windows, and electrical systems. For commercial display purposes, use glass curtain walls and customized exteriors.
Installation Stage
- Ground Preparation: Remove loose soil and debris from the ground and compact the original soil layer to provide a uniform load-bearing foundation for the container house, preventing uneven settlement of the container body due to local pressure.
- Waterproofing: Apply waterproof glue to the roof and check whether the sealing strips around the doors and windows are aged, which could cause air and water leaks and affect living conditions.
- Water and Electricity Renovation: Pre-install standardized electrical interfaces and water supply and drainage systems, support solar power supply solutions, ensure that there are no exposed or aged wires, and have leakage protection.
Use and Maintenance Stage
- Regular Inspections: Check the structural stability, ensuring that the four corner columns and bottom crossbeams are not bent or rusted through, and that the welds are not cracked. Check that the corrugated plates on the roof and walls have no rust holes and inspect for water leakage during rainy days.
- Maintenance: Keep the floor dry and free of mildew spots and holes, and ensure that the insulation rock wool does not get damp, clump, or turn black. Replace aged sealing strips around doors and windows in a timely manner.
- Flexible Relocation: After the project is completed, container houses can be relocated to a new site using trailers for continued use. A single investment can be reused multiple times, which is environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
