Container House Combination Methods

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The combination methods of container houses mainly include single-container use, multi-container splicing, expandable combination, and combination with other structures.

Single-container use: This is the most basic application form of container houses. Using standard containers as carriers, they are transformed into independent office or living units after modification. Common sizes include 20-foot and 40-foot containers. This combination method features a sturdy structure and convenient transportation, making it suitable for scenarios such as project departments and construction site command centers that have relatively small space requirements and need rapid deployment.

Multi-container splicing: When larger spaces are required, multiple containers can be spliced together. Through horizontal or vertical splicing, a wider variety of architectural forms can be created, ranging from small single-container buildings to large combined buildings. For example, some temporary office spaces in industrial parks and event planning sites can be flexibly expanded according to the number of people and functional zoning to meet different usage needs.

Expandable combination: Side or end expansion modules are added to the containers. After expansion, the usable area can be increased by 30% - 50%, making it suitable for long-term on-site office or living scenarios that require a high level of spatial comfort. For instance, the wild outposts or bases of some wilderness exploration teams need a certain amount of space to accommodate functions such as accommodation, office work, and rest, while also requiring easy mobility and re-combination. Expandable container houses can well meet these needs.

Combination with other structures: Container houses can also be combined with other structures such as light steel keels and color steel plates. For example, in the case of prefabricated office buildings, light steel keels are combined with color steel plates for on-site modular assembly, and then combined with the use of containers. Unique architectural forms can be created according to the actual project requirements, further expanding the spatial adaptability of container buildings.
