Container House Box Pulley

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container house box pulleys generally refer to caster devices used for moving containers. Their core function is to solve the problem of short-distance displacement of empty containers in factory areas, storage yards, and other scenarios. The following provides an introduction from the aspects of structure, function, application scenarios, and purchasing considerations:

Structure and Materials

Container casters are generally composed of wheel frames, wheel cores, bearings, and connecting parts. The wheel frames are often made of thickened cast iron or high-strength steel to ensure stable load-bearing and impact resistance. The wheel cores are commonly made of heavy-duty polyurethane material, which combines wear resistance with quiet operation and also avoids scratching the ground (such as epoxy floors and cement floors). Some products mark parameters such as the thickness of the wheel frame and the diameter of the wheel core. For example, a certain model of caster has a wheel frame thickness of over 10mm and a wheel core diameter of 200mm, and can bear a load of over 5 tons.

Core Functions

  1. Efficient Movement: Through universal steering design, containers can move forward, backward, left, and right, as well as turn in place, solving the problem of traditional forklifts and cranes being unable to operate in narrow spaces (such as workshop aisles and between workstations).
  2. Safe Fixing: Equipped with a precise brake locking mechanism, the container can be locked in place with one click after being moved, preventing the box from slipping and enhancing operational safety.
  3. Adaptability: The casters directly clamp onto the standard container corner fittings without the need for welding or modifying the container body, making installation convenient and allowing ordinary workers to operate.

Application Scenarios

  1. Container Production Factories: Used for the short-distance handling of new containers, old containers, and painted containers, reducing forklift scheduling costs.
  2. Storage Yards and Warehousing: Solves the problem of neatly arranging empty containers and improves site utilization.
  3. Modification Factory Areas: Assists in the positioning and adjustment of container bodies during the modification of containers into houses, offices, etc.

Purchasing Considerations

  1. Load-Bearing Capacity: Select casters according to the self-weight of the container (an empty container weighs about 2-3 tons) and the load requirements. It is recommended to choose products with a single-wheel load-bearing capacity of ≥2.5 tons.
  2. Wheel Material: Polyurethane wheels are suitable for indoor operations, while rubber wheels are suitable for rough outdoor surfaces.
  3. Brake Function: Prioritize choosing casters with brake devices to ensure operational safety.
  4. Installation Method: Confirm whether the casters are compatible with standard container corner fittings to avoid additional modifications.

Tip: Some suppliers offer customization services and can adjust the caster specifications (such as wheel diameter and wheel frame material) according to the container size and usage scenario. It is recommended to contact the supplier before purchasing to obtain detailed parameters and installation instructions.
