Container House Bottom Drainage
Drainage at the bottom of container houses can be achieved through reasonable foundation design, pre-embedded drainage pipes, installation of drainage devices, and optimization of the container body structure. Details are as follows:

Reasonable foundation design: When installing a container house, the ground level should be higher than the surrounding terrain. Drainage ditches should be excavated around the container body to prevent rainwater accumulation and backflow. For long-term fixed container houses, a concrete strip foundation should be poured, with a recommended width of 30 to 50 centimeters and a depth determined by the local frost layer thickness. The top surface of the foundation should be kept level, with a height difference of no more than 5 millimeters, providing a uniform load-bearing foundation for the container house and avoiding uneven settlement of the container body due to local pressure, which could affect drainage.
Pre-embedded drainage pipes: Plan and pre-embed drainage pipes in advance to ensure a smooth drainage path. During the renovation of container houses, a reasonable drainage system can be designed according to actual needs to guide accumulated water to designated drainage areas.
Installation of drainage devices: Specialized drainage devices can be used, such as same-floor drainage collectors, water accumulators, concealed drainers, PVC pre-embedded parts, and secondary drainage hidden floor drains in sink boxes. These devices can effectively collect and treat accumulated water at the bottom of container houses, preventing water accumulation from causing damage to the container body. For example, a secondary drainage hidden floor drain in a sink box can be installed at the bottom of the sink box to drain accumulated water.
Optimization of the container body structure: Some innovatively designed container houses, such as the packaged container houses developed by Nanjing Changyou Zhizao, adopt a top-bottom integrated welding structure with a built-in drainage system design. Accumulated water can be effectively guided out through built-in gutters. In addition, sedimentation tanks can be set up at the bottom of container houses to accommodate sediment. Regular cleaning can maintain smooth drainage.
