Container House Base Size
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
The base size of container houses varies depending on the type of container, with common standard container bases having an internal length of approximately 5860-5898mm and a width of approximately 2240-2352mm, with the height determined by design requirements.

Standard Container House Base Sizes:
- 20-foot Standard Container: The external dimensions are typically 6055mm (length) × 2435mm (width), with internal dimensions of approximately 5860mm (length) × 2240mm (width). The height, depending on the assembled state, is generally around 2500mm. This size of container house is suitable for single-person offices, dormitories, or shops.
- 40-foot Standard Container: With larger external dimensions, the internal dimensions are approximately 11998mm (length) × 2330mm (width). Similarly, the height after assembly is about 2350mm (though some sources suggest 2591mm, which may vary depending on the specific design or assembly method). This size of container house is suitable for scenarios requiring partitioned multi-functional spaces or multi-person dormitories.
Non-standard and Custom Container House Base Sizes:
- Non-standard container houses offer more flexibility in size and can be customized according to customer needs. For example, there are various specifications available such as 3m×6m, 3m×8m, and 3m×12m. The base sizes of these non-standard container houses are adjusted accordingly to meet different usage requirements.
- Additionally, there are container houses with special dimensions, such as widths of 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, and 4m, and heights of 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, and 2.9m. The base sizes of these special-dimension container houses are also customized according to specific needs.
Other Considerations:
- The base size of a container house not only affects the internal space layout but also relates to transportation, lifting, and assembly processes. Therefore, when choosing a container house, it is necessary to determine the appropriate base size based on actual needs and usage scenarios.
