Container House Automation

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container house automation is mainly reflected in production processes, installation efficiency, and intelligent management, achieving efficient construction and flexible application through factory prefabrication, intelligent production lines, and modular design.

1. Production Process Automation

The core advantage of container houses lies in the shift from traditional on-site construction to factory assembly-line production. Taking a steel structure modular smart factory in Guangdong as an example, its fully automated production line, over 400 meters long, integrates welding, assembly, and grinding robots, working in tandem with AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) for precise material transportation. The house is disassembled into six components: the bottom, top, and four sides, which are produced simultaneously across multiple sub-production lines and finally assembled into a complete container at the end of the line. This parallel operation mode enables a daily module output of up to 50 units, with production capacity ten times that of similar factories in North America, and manufacturing precision consistently controlled within 1-2 millimeters, far exceeding the centimeter-level error of traditional on-site construction.

2. Installation Efficiency Automation

The on-site installation of container houses is achieved through modular design for rapid assembly. Taking the China Construction Science & Industry Corporation's modular hotel project in Papua New Guinea as an example, traditional construction would take 14-18 months, while the modular solution integrates domestic production, sea freight, and on-site assembly, reducing the overall project duration to approximately 7 months. Only a small number of personnel are required on-site for lifting, electromechanical connection, and finishing touches, reducing the number of permanent workers by over 60% and eliminating the need for temporary facilities such as scaffolding. Additionally, factory-prefabricated plumbing, bathroom, and finishing units reduce on-site wet work, further shortening the delivery cycle.

3. Intelligent Management Automation

Some leading enterprises enhance the full lifecycle management efficiency of container houses through digital technologies. For instance, Zhonghui Energy Storage Container Company adopts modular design to support disassembly, relocation, and recycling, combining its own production line with an intelligent monitoring system to track the structural status and protection level of containers in real-time. Suzhou Aoshang Public Facilities Co., Ltd. utilizes patented environmental treatment technology to achieve automated operation and maintenance of bathroom and sewage systems in Apple Pod containers, reducing the need for manual intervention. These intelligent management methods enable container houses to offer higher scene adaptability and cost-effectiveness in scenarios such as cultural and tourism campsites and commercial districts.
