Container House Assembly Tutorial

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The assembly of container houses should follow a standardized process, integrating structural safety and functional requirements, and completing foundation treatment, frame assembly, wall and roof panel installation, and decoration step by step. The specific operation points are as follows:

I. Foundation Treatment and Frame Assembly

  1. Foundation Leveling: Construction should be carried out on a flat ground or workbench to ensure the stability of the bottom frame installation. For example, when installing a container board house, the bottom corners of the container should be connected to the bottom beams with hexagon socket bolts, which should not be tightened immediately. After adjusting the diagonal error of the bottom frame to be ≤3mm, they can be fully fixed.
  2. Steel Structure Assembly: Adopt a modular design and prioritize assembling steel beams and square tube columns. For example, in the plan of Zhongnan Steel Structure, steel beams and square tube columns should be fastened with screws, and the verticality should be adjusted with a plumb line to ensure that the component dimensions meet the standards.
  3. Secondary Beam and Floor Substrate Installation: Install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positioning holes of the long beams, fix them with self-tapping screws, and then lay magnesium oxide board substrates. The substrates should be cut at an angle according to the chalk lines and marked at the center lines of the π-shaped beams to provide positioning references for subsequent floor panel splicing.

II. Wall and Roof Panel Installation

  1. Floor Panel Laying and Fixing: The splicing points of the floor panels should coincide with the center lines of the π-shaped beams. Fix them with cross-head flat-tail screws along the marked chalk lines, with the nail spacing controlled at 300-350mm. The floor panel joints should be sanded and brushed with PVC special adhesive. After laying the floor adhesive, expel the air and perform welding treatment on the splicing points if necessary.
  2. Wall Panel and Roof Panel Installation: After the floor panel installation is completed, reserve the positions for doors and windows, install the exterior wall panels, and then cover the roof panels. For example, a foldable container house needs to unfold the main frame first, fix the wall panels with fastening screws, and then hoist it to the predetermined position.
  3. Node Connection Reinforcement: The connection points between the steel beams and the square tube columns should be welded with angle irons for horizontal supports, and the chassis irons and the square tube columns should be welded and fixed to ensure the overall structure is earthquake-resistant and loose-proof.

III. Decoration and Functional Improvement

  1. Interior Decoration: Lay fire-resistant floor leather and install lighting fixtures, switch sockets, and air conditioning holes. For example, a cultural and creative container house lays high-end floor leather on the chassis floor to improve living comfort.
  2. Waterproofing and Sealing Treatment: The roof panels should be sealed with glass curtain wall waterproof adhesive. The waterproof performance of ordinary adhesive can only last for half a year, while that of glass curtain wall adhesive can be extended to 5-6 years.
  3. Functional Expansion: By splicing 2-3 containers or stacking them in different layers, functional areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms can be expanded. For example, two containers can be connected to form a flat layout of about 100 square meters, including a living and dining room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub.

IV. Safety and Quality Control

  1. Hoisting Safety: Non-professionals should stay away from the installation area to avoid the risk of hoisting cranes or foldable container houses tipping over.
  2. Accuracy Requirements: When stacking multiple containers, the verticality should be strictly controlled. For example, the total height of a three-story container house should be controlled within 9.6 meters, and the seismic fortification intensity should reach 7 degrees.
  3. Material Standards: Wall panels are mostly made of rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane sandwich panels, with a fire resistance rating of Class II. Structural steel should preferably be hot-dip galvanized cold-formed steel, which has better rust and corrosion resistance.
