Container House Assembly Flowchart

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The assembly process of a container house mainly includes several key steps: foundation work, overall structural construction, installation of doors and windows, interior decoration, and installation of other facilities.

Foundation Work: This is the foundational step in constructing a container house. Depending on the local seismic fortification intensity, an appropriate foundation type should be selected, with common options including pile foundations, large slab foundations, and strip foundations. Additionally, local geological conditions and the load-bearing capacity of the house should be considered for foundation construction. For example, in areas with soft geology, pile foundations may be necessary to enhance the stability of the foundation; whereas, in areas with good geological conditions and lower house loads, strip foundations may be more suitable.

Overall Structural Construction: There are two options available. If convenience and sufficient budget are priorities, factory-finished containers with interior decoration and doors and windows already installed can be chosen for direct use, although this option is relatively more expensive. If opting for self-construction, purchase containers first, then cut and assemble them into a rough house. For instance, combining two containers can result in a house with a width of 12 meters and a depth of 4.9 meters. Subsequently, internal structural treatments are carried out on-site, including the installation of wooden frame partitions and insulation layers, to enhance the stability and thermal insulation performance of the house.

Installation of Doors and Windows: Accurately open door and window openings on the container, and then install the doors and windows. The installation positions and sizes of doors and windows should be determined based on the overall design and usage requirements of the house, ensuring smooth opening and closing of doors and windows while maintaining the sealing and safety of the house.

Interior Decoration: First, carry out electrical installations, including the installation of lights, switches, and sockets, and reserve holes for air conditioners. Generally, lighting fixtures are installed in the middle of the house, switches beside the door, sockets 60 centimeters above the ground, and air conditioner holes opposite the door diagonally. Secondly, ensure both exterior and interior wall insulation, using gypsum board with light steel keel ceilings and similar methods for walls. Clean and blow the roof to prepare the working surface for exterior roof insulation. Finally, meticulously decorate the main functional areas such as the living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms to create a comfortable living environment.

Installation of Other Facilities: Depending on actual needs, facilities such as a real fireplace and solar photovoltaic power generation systems (installing solar panels on the roof and equipped with batteries) can be installed. Additionally, install window security grilles and apply waterproof glue (using glass curtain wall waterproof glue) to windows, doors, and roof panels to ensure the safety and waterproofing of the house.
