Container House Air Conditioner Installation Diagram
Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026
When installing an air conditioner in a container house, it is not recommended to fully install the air conditioner inside the cabinet. You can refer to the following installation points and precautions:

I. Reasons for not recommending 'installing the air conditioner inside the cabinet'
- Condensate water problem
The space inside the cabinet is enclosed and humid. When the air conditioner is running, it is prone to generating condensate water, causing water droplets to form on the inner walls of the cabinet and the air outlets. Over the long term, this may lead to cabinet deformation, mold growth, and shorten the lifespan of both the air conditioner and the cabinet. - Difficulty in controlling installation dimensions
The height of the cabinet's top sealing plate needs to match the installation hole positions of the air conditioner. If the height of the top sealing plate is ignored, later hole-drilling may damage the cabinet structure. When customizing a cabinet, embedding the air conditioner may increase the cost due to the projected area fee. - Fixing hazards
If the air conditioner is not directly fixed to the wall but installed through the cabinet's shelves, even with extended screws, the holes may expand and the screws may become loose due to the fragility of the cabinet shelves and the vibration of the air conditioner. - Ventilation and heat dissipation problems
If a louvered partition is used, it will block the air outlet, weaken the airflow sensation, and may even cause cold air to flow backward. If the cabinet door is opened for use, the operation is cumbersome, and the cramped space affects heat dissipation. - Space utilization conflicts
A cabinet with a standard depth may affect the air outlet effect, while thinning the cabinet reduces storage space. Although widening the top layer of the cabinet can improve the situation, it will sacrifice storage function.
II. Reasonable suggestions for air conditioner installation
- Choose an appropriate location
The air conditioner's air outlet should avoid blowing directly at the bedhead or the human body. It is recommended to install it on the wall at the foot of the bed near the entrance or near the window at the bedhead. The main unit should be kept away from heat sources (such as chandeliers and projectors) and direct sunlight. - Ensure horizontal installation
The unit needs to be horizontal, with the left-right height difference indoors not exceeding 3 cm. The height of the drain pipe should be slightly higher than the air conditioner hole to prevent water leakage due to poor drainage. - Reserve maintenance space
Reserve a maintenance opening during installation for easy later maintenance. Avoid having no return air space above, which may cause the air conditioner to malfunction, and ensure that the filter can be cleaned. - Pay attention to drainage and power supply
The drain pipe needs to be connected to a floor drain or a bucket. For outdoor installation, it is preferable to choose a condensate water evaporation model. Check whether the power distribution unit (PDU) has spare sockets, whether the wire diameter is sufficient, and whether a separate wire needs to be pulled for high-power models.
