Images of 4-Floor Container Houses

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there are no directly available public images of 4-floor container houses, but their appearance and structure can be imagined through descriptions of relevant cases and design features.

1400 Square Meter Container Apartment in Chile

This apartment is four stories high and is constructed based on recycled containers and a steel-structure prefabrication system. Its design features modularity, allowing for adjustments or phased construction according to different conditions. The project is designed with 6 prefabricated stair blocks and 70 containers, with most units forming small balconies. The gaps between modules add dynamic features to the overall building. The foundation, first-floor slab, and MEP system are constructed on-site, while the remaining elements are prefabricated and then installed on-site. This construction method demonstrates the advantages of fast construction speed and cost savings in container building construction, making it suitable for students and single individuals in low-density and medium-density urban areas.

Design Features and Advantages of Container Buildings

  • Modular Combination: Container buildings can achieve diverse architectural forms through the combination of containers in different quantities and arrangements. For example, the Chilean apartment forms small balconies through the arrangement of containers, adding layers and dynamic features to the building.
  • Spatial Adaptability: The net space of standard-sized containers is relatively cramped, with low indoor height and narrow and long horizontal space. Therefore, adaptive combination designs of container bodies are usually carried out during renovation. By combining container bodies, more types of buildings can be shaped, creating the unique artistic quality of container buildings and meeting the needs of projects of different scales, from small single-container buildings to large combined buildings.
  • Structure and Load-Bearing: According to international standards, a 20-foot container can bear a load of 25 tons, and a 40-foot container can bear a load of 45 tons. This provides a guarantee for the structural stability of container buildings, enabling them to withstand certain loads and meet the basic requirements of multi-story buildings.
  • Construction Efficiency and Cost: The prefabricated structure of container buildings can be mostly manufactured in factories and then quickly installed on-site. This construction method significantly shortens the construction period, reduces labor and material costs, and minimizes the impact of on-site construction on the environment.
