Specifications of Portable Toilets for Construction Sites
Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026
The specifications of portable toilets for construction sites vary due to different usage scenarios and requirements. Common specifications can be divided into three categories: single-unit, multi-unit combination, and special-needs types, as detailed below:

I. Specifications of Single-Unit Portable Toilets
The size design of single-unit portable toilets needs to balance user comfort and space utilization. Common specifications are as follows:
- Regular Size: The width is typically 1.0-1.2 meters, the depth 1.0-1.5 meters, and the height 2.0-2.5 meters. For example, some models have a width of 1.0 meters or 1.1 meters, a depth of 1.1-1.5 meters, and a height of 2.2 meters or 2.3 meters.
- Special Mini Model: Designed for small exhibitions or commercial streets with high foot traffic, it measures 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height, offering compact space while meeting basic needs.
- Single-Person Standard Model: Suitable for temporary setups at small construction sites or areas with fewer personnel, it measures approximately 1.2 meters (width) × 0.8 meters (depth) × 2.2 meters (height).
II. Specifications of Multi-Unit Combination Portable Toilets
Multi-unit combination types enhance usage efficiency by increasing the number of stalls, with overall dimensions expanding accordingly:
- Double-Stall Model: The overall width is approximately 2.0-2.4 meters, with depth and height similar to those of single-unit models, suitable for small to medium-sized construction sites.
- Double-Compartment Model: It measures 1.8 meters (width) × 1.2 meters (depth) × 2.4 meters (height), accommodating two users simultaneously, suitable for scenarios with a large number of construction personnel.
- Double-Person Universal Model: Measuring 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, it is suitable for non-construction site scenarios such as team-building venues or outdoor camping areas.
- Multi-Compartment Luxury Model: For large construction sites or high-demand projects, it measures 3 meters (width) × 2 meters (depth) × 2.5 meters or more, with more comprehensive internal configurations.
III. Specifications of Special-Needs Portable Toilets
To meet special needs such as barrier-free access, some portable toilets adjust their dimensions:
- Barrier-Free Toilet: The width must be ≥1.5 meters, and the depth ≥1.8 meters, ensuring wheelchair access and turning space.
- Barrier-Free Special Model: It measures 180 cm in length, 150 cm in width, and 240 cm in height, with reserved wheelchair turning space inside, facilitating use by individuals with mobility impairments.
IV. Other Considerations
- Materials and Structure: They often use color-coated steel plates, metal embossed plates, or steel structural frames, offering lightness, durability, and ease of cleaning.
- Internal Configuration: Basic configurations include squat toilets, handwashing stations, and lighting, with high-end models possibly equipped with air conditioning or ventilation systems.
- Installation and Maintenance: Space must be reserved for ventilation and sewage pipe connections, and regular cleaning is required to avoid odors and hygiene issues.
