Construction Site Portable Toilet Manufacturing
There are mainly three methods for manufacturing portable toilets at construction sites:

I. Fabrication Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets This method uses discarded water storage tanks as the core material and achieves functional integration through modification. First, install universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet to ensure mobility. Place the recycled water storage tank on the pallet and use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top to form an open tank. Stack two open tanks upside down and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to form a wall structure. Cut a rectangular opening as the doorway. For internal construction, drill holes in the ground, insert elbows and water pipes, and seal them. Install and fix the toilet. After fixing the water pipes with wall clips, install a faucet and connect a drainage pipe outlet below. The sink is fixed with a stainless steel basin, connected to the toilet tank's inlet pipe and shower hose. Install a toilet seat and a showerhead made from a water pipe. Finally, make a door with wood and hinges and install a door handle. This method is cost-effective and suitable for temporary needs, but attention should be paid to the sealing and structural stability of the water storage tank.
II. Using Square Tubes to Weld an Overall Framework This method builds a modular structure based on a metal framework. Taking a 3-meter-wide and 6-meter-long square tube toilet box as an example, the overall framework is welded using 10×10mm, 1.5mm-thick square tubes, forming separate independent spaces on the left and right (a men's restroom on the left and a women's restroom on the right). The framework is equipped with a special door for the container house. Inside, it is equipped with a ceramic sink, and the ground is paved with anti-slip floor glue to enhance safety. This method has high structural strength and is suitable for long-term use scenarios, but it requires professional welding equipment and technical support, and the transportation cost is relatively high.
III. Factory Customized Production Personalized design according to actual needs is the core of this method. For example, a factory in Zhejiang, due to a significant disparity in the ratio of male to female employees (more males and fewer females), adopted an expedited 4-day production schedule for customization. The women's area retained only 1 squat position, while the men's area was set up with 7 squat positions. During the customization process, dimensions, materials, and functional configurations can be flexibly adjusted, such as adding ventilation systems, lighting equipment, or intelligent control modules. This method can precisely match usage scenarios, but it requires advance planning of needs and allocation of a production cycle, and the cost is relatively high.
Each of the three methods has its advantages and disadvantages: water storage tank modification is suitable for low-cost temporary use; square tube welding frameworks are suitable for long-term fixed locations; and factory customization can meet complex scenario requirements. When making an actual choice, factors such as budget, construction period, frequency of use, and site conditions should be comprehensively considered.
