Portable Toilet for Construction Sites

Quản trị 19 tháng 10, 2026

A portable toilet for construction sites is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing toilet services for workers. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.

Production Method

A young man used a water storage tank and a pallet to make a portable toilet. First, he fixed universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet. Then, he placed a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station on the pallet and used an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top and form an open tank. He inverted another open-top water storage tank and stacked it on the first tank, securing the outer frames of the two tanks with self-tapping screws and cutting a rectangular opening to form a doorway. He made holes in the internal floor of the tank and installed drainage-related components, placed and fixed a toilet, and then installed a faucet, a washbasin, a toilet tank, a showerhead, and other components. Finally, he made the toilet door using wooden boards and hinges.

Type Classification

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and is more complex in terms of function or space.
  • By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types may require lifting equipment for movement; powered and towed types have their own power or can be towed by vehicles.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction types can handle excrement in a timely manner; circulating water-flushing types can save water resources; dry-packing types pack excrement for easy subsequent cleaning.

Materials and Configuration

Initially made of materials such as wood, they have gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene. The frame of mobile environmental protection public toilets is welded with national standard steel, and the surface is covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, with a service life of more than 20 years. Internally, they are equipped with independent toilet pit partition treatment systems, non-slip floors, automatic flushing toilet bowls, and ventilation and lighting systems, providing a comfortable and safe environment for users.

Application Scenarios

They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. There are also customized cases according to actual needs. For example, a customer in Zhejiang customized a mobile toilet for factory workers. According to the situation that there were more men than women in the factory, one squatting position was reserved for women and seven squatting positions were placed for men.
