Portable Toilets for Construction Sites

Quản trị 16 tháng 10, 2026

Portable toilets for construction sites are movable facilities designed to meet the toilet needs of construction workers, featuring flexible production, diverse functions, and scientific design.

Flexible production methods, allowing for self-made or customized options
There are two ways to obtain portable toilets for construction sites: one is to make them using materials such as water storage tanks and pallets. For example, fix universal wheels at the bottom of a pallet to form a mobile base, stack water storage tanks as the tank body, cut an opening as the entrance, install toilets, sinks, faucets, and other facilities inside, and connect to a drainage system. This method has lower costs and is suitable for temporary needs; the other is factory customization. Factories can adjust specifications according to the specific needs of construction sites. For instance, a mobile toilet customized by a client in Zhejiang had 7 squatting positions for men and 1 for women, with a construction period of only 4 days, meeting the demand for rapid deployment.

Complete structure and functions, adaptable to various scenarios
A portable toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Materials have gradually evolved from traditional wood to fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene, which are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. According to structural form, they can be divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations); according to mobility, they can be divided into lifting and handling types (requiring manual or mechanical handling) and powered and towed types (connectable to vehicles for towing); according to sewage treatment methods, they can be divided into water-flush types (requiring a water source), non-water-flush suction types (regularly transporting feces), circulating water-flush types (water recycling), and dry-pack types (using biodegradable bags to collect feces).

Design follows scientific principles, balancing practicality and environmental protection
Its design adheres to six principles: mobility, cost-effectiveness, durability, environmental friendliness, efficiency improvement, and humanitarianism. The overall structure is lightweight and durable, with controlled height and width to fit different transportation vehicles; the mobile device is complete and reasonable, ensuring stability and safety during handling or towing. For example, a 4+1 stepped mobile toilet has 4 squatting positions and 1 open washroom. The exterior wall is made of heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, the side door is made of titanium-magnesium alloy, the washroom is equipped with a complete set of bathroom cabinets, the interior wall is made of bamboo-wood fiber panels, and the bottom is made of anti-slip tiles, meeting functional needs while also considering aesthetics and durability.

Customizable configurations to meet personalized needs
Construction sites can adjust the configurations of portable toilets according to actual needs. For example, the number of squatting positions, washroom layout, and material selection can all be customized. Some high-end models are also equipped with air conditioning, lighting, and ventilation systems to enhance user comfort.
