What Types of Mobile Toilets Are Available at Construction Sites

Quản trị 05 tháng 10, 2026

Mobile toilets at construction sites can be classified by material into plastic toilets, color-steel toilets, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets; by type into mobile toilets, container toilets, and eco-friendly toilets; and by sewage disposal method into waterless packing toilets, traditional water-flushing toilets, foam-sealing toilets, and microbial degradation toilets.

From the perspective of materials, plastic toilets are lightweight and inexpensive. Their relatively low weight makes them easy to move and position at construction sites, and their low cost makes them well-suited for temporary use, meeting workers' basic toilet needs in the short term. Color-steel toilets offer good thermal and acoustic insulation and have an attractive appearance. Although commonly found in places like parks and streets, they can also be used at construction sites to provide a relatively comfortable and aesthetically pleasing toilet environment. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets are molded as a whole, with a sturdy structure and strong resistance to impact and harsh environments. They are not only suitable for special scenarios like disaster relief and emergency response but also perform well at construction sites, which have complex environments and high usage frequencies.

In terms of types, mobile toilets are highly flexible and can be repositioned according to the construction progress and actual needs at the site, facilitating workers' use in different areas. Container toilets are usually modified from shipping containers, offering relatively spacious interiors and more complete facilities, providing workers with a relatively comfortable toilet experience. Eco-friendly toilets focus on environmental protection, taking into full consideration resource conservation and pollution reduction in their design and use, meeting modern construction sites' requirements for environmental friendliness.

Based on sewage disposal methods, waterless packing toilets do not require water and use special packing devices to package feces and other waste, avoiding water waste and the environmental impact of sewage discharge. They are suitable for construction sites with water scarcity or high environmental protection requirements. Traditional water-flushing toilets are widely used, using water flow to flush away waste and providing good cleaning effects, but they require connection to a water source and drainage system. Foam-sealing toilets utilize the lubricating and sealing effects of foam to reduce odor emission while saving water. Microbial degradation toilets use microorganisms to decompose feces and other waste, achieving harmless and resource-based disposal of waste, representing a relatively advanced sewage disposal method.
