Construction Site Mobile Toilet Construction
There are mainly two ways to construct mobile toilets at construction sites: configuring ready-made mobile toilets and making self-made mobile toilets, and mobile toilets can be classified into multiple types.

Configuring Ready-made Mobile Toilets
Ready-made mobile toilets that are fully equipped and can be used immediately upon placement are available. These toilets have complete internal facilities, including leakage switches, flush tanks, exhaust fans, lights, and ceramic floors. Their advantage lies in being ready for use once connected to electricity, without the need for complex assembly and construction work. They can be quickly put into use to meet the basic toilet needs of construction site personnel, saving construction time and labor costs.
Making Self-made Mobile Toilets
A young man used a water storage tank and a pallet to make a movable toilet. The specific steps are as follows:
- Installing Universal Wheels: First, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet to provide convenience for moving the mobile toilet.
- Processing the Water Storage Tank: Place the water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station and use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top to form an open-top tank. Stack two open-top water storage tanks upside down and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut out a rectangular opening to form a doorway.
- Installing Sanitary Ware: Drill a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow and a water pipe, and seal it. Install a toilet and fix it. Fix the water pipe on the wall with clips, install a faucet, connect a drain pipe below, and install a stainless steel basin as a hand-washing basin.
- Connecting Pipes: Connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet tank and the shower hose, install the toilet seat and a shower head made of a water pipe.
- Making and Installing the Door: Make a door for the toilet using wooden boards and hinges and install a door handle.
Classification of Mobile Toilets
- By Structural Form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
- By Moving Method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types are suitable for short-distance movement or scenarios where simple tools are used for movement; powered and towed types can be moved over long distances through power devices such as vehicles.
- By Sewage Treatment Method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different environments and needs. For example, water-flush types have better cleaning effects but require a water source, while dry-packing types do not require a water source but need regular cleaning of the packed waste.
