Construction Site Container House - Six Floors

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

It is feasible to construct a six-story container house on a construction site, provided that specific conditions are met and relevant technical regulations are followed.

I. Technical Regulations and Restrictions

According to the "Technical Regulations for Modular Combined Houses", container houses are suitable for low-rise and multi-story buildings, with a limit of ≤6 floors, a height of ≤24 meters, and a seismic fortification intensity of ≤8 degrees. This means that, under the premise of reasonable structural design and standardized construction, a six-story container house is technically feasible.

II. Structural Stability Requirements

  1. Foundation and Base: Multi-story container houses have high requirements for the foundation. It is necessary to ensure that the foundation bearing capacity meets the design requirements to avoid structural damage caused by uneven settlement.

  2. Container Connection: When stacking, reliable connection methods such as welding or bolt connection should be used to ensure that the connection nodes between containers are firm and prevent horizontal displacement or overturning.

  3. Load-Bearing Capacity: The bottom-story containers must have sufficient load-bearing capacity to support the loads from the upper stories. During design, the load transfer path should be considered to ensure the overall stability of the structure.

III. Material and Fire Protection Requirements

  1. Material Selection: Containers that meet national standards and have passed inspection should be used. The beams and columns should be free of defects, and the corner fittings should be complete and reliable. Quality certification documents should be provided upon arrival at the site.

  2. Fire Rating: The core materials of container houses (such as sandwich panels) must meet Class A fire protection standards to meet fire inspection requirements and reduce fire risks.

IV. Design and Construction Points

  1. Professional Design: Multi-story container houses should be designed by qualified design units to ensure structural safety and reasonable functionality.

  2. Construction Specifications: During construction, design drawings and technical regulations should be strictly followed to ensure that connection methods and material usage meet requirements.

  3. Inspection and Maintenance: After completion, structural safety inspections should be conducted, and regular inspections and maintenance should be carried out to ensure the long-term safe use of the house.
