Construction of Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

There are mainly two methods for constructing mobile toilets: using buckets or water storage tanks as the main materials and assembling with finished parts.

Using Buckets or Water Storage Tanks as the Main Materials

  • Making the Base: You can choose wooden boards and install universal wheels to make the base. This type of base is easy to move and can adapt to the needs of different sites. Alternatively, you can use a plastic pallet and fix universal wheels at its four corners to achieve the same effect of easy movement.
  • Building the Main Body: Place the cut buckets or water storage tanks on the base and fix them with wooden strips or self-tapping screws to ensure the stability of the main structure.
  • Creating the Entrance and Exit: Use an angle grinder to cut the buckets or water storage tanks to form the entrance and exit. Then, wrap and fix the cut edges with wooden boards. This not only ensures the neatness of the entrance and exit but also prevents the cut edges from scratching users.
  • Installing Sanitary Facilities: Install toilets, floor drains, water pipe connectors, etc., inside the mobile toilet and connect the corresponding pipes to ensure the normal discharge of sewage.
  • Improving Functions: According to actual needs, you can make showerheads and install washbasins to enhance the functionality of the mobile toilet.
  • Installing the Door: Process a wooden door using wooden boards and strips and install it on the door frame with hinges. You can also make a door using wooden boards and lotus leaves to provide privacy for users.

Assembling with Finished Parts

  • Preparing the Parts: Place a pile of parts on the ground, including columns, walls, roofs, etc. These parts are prefabricated in advance and have standardized specifications and sizes.
  • Assembling and Fixing: Assemble and fix the various parts like building blocks, ensuring that each snap-fit is tight to guarantee the overall structural firmness of the mobile toilet.
  • Advantages and Characteristics: This construction method does not require digging a septic tank or complex civil engineering works. The entire assembly process is simple and quick, which can greatly shorten the construction time and improve construction efficiency.

A mobile toilet is generally composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, mobile device, etc. Its design should follow the principles of easy mobility, economic durability, environmental protection, ecological friendliness, environmental benefit, efficiency improvement, and humanitarian promotion.
