Classification of Construction Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 06 tháng 10, 2026

Construction mobile toilets can be mainly classified into four categories based on structural form, mobility method, sewage treatment method, and usage location.

Based on structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are usually made of plastic or metal, set up independently, easy to transport and install, and suitable for small construction sites or temporary usage scenarios. Composite-structure mobile toilets, such as modular mobile toilets, are composed of multiple units connected together, capable of providing more toilet stalls, and suitable for areas with a high density of people.

Based on mobility method, there are lifting/handling mobile toilets and powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets. Lifting/handling mobile toilets require the use of cranes for transportation and are suitable for fixed locations on construction sites. Powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets are installed on trailers and can be towed by vehicles, suitable for large construction sites or scenarios requiring frequent relocation.

Based on sewage treatment method, there is a wide variety. The waterless packaging type uses biodegradable film materials. After each use, a new film is automatically replaced to seal and package the excreta. This process does not require water and does not produce odor leakage, suitable for water-scarce outdoor environments. The ordinary water-flushing type has a built-in water storage tank and flushing device, with a usage method similar to that of household toilets, providing a relatively comfortable user experience and good odor control, but requiring regular replenishment of clean water and sewage discharge, with certain requirements for water supply and drainage conditions. The water-saving flushing type reduces water consumption through special design, helping to conserve resources. The high-pressure soda water flushing type is also one of the types. The foam sealing type covers odors with a squeeze of foam, saving water and being environmentally friendly, commonly used in scenic spots. The microbial degradation type treats excreta through microbial decomposition, converting it into harmless substances, commonly found in ecological parks. The vacuum self-priming water-flushing type (used in high-speed rail) adopts negative pressure suction technology, requiring only a small amount of water for each flush, with significant water-saving effects, achieving a water-saving rate of over 80%, but the vacuum system requires electric power drive and the equipment has a relatively high cost.

Based on usage location, they can be divided into economical and practical types, urban modern types, landscape types, and star-rated standard types, with different types suitable for different usage scenarios and needs.
