Common Container House Specifications
Common specifications for container houses mainly include a length of 6 meters, width of 3 meters, and height of 2.8 meters. In addition, there are specifications such as 3 meters × 3 meters and 7 meters × 3 meters, as well as custom sizes based on requirements.

I. Standard Specifications
6 meters × 3 meters × 2.8 meters: This is the most common standard container house size on the market, with an area of approximately 18 square meters. It has a stable structure and high space utilization, making it widely used in construction site dormitories, temporary office spaces, commercial exhibition spaces, and other scenarios. This specification can accommodate about 10 people for living and can also be transformed into functional rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms.
3 meters × 3 meters × 2.8 meters: A relatively small container house, usually used for construction site guardrooms, small warehouses, or single-person living scenarios. It has a compact structure but relatively cramped space, suitable for temporary uses with low area requirements.
II. Extended Specifications
7 meters × 3 meters × 2.8 meters: These container houses are often used for two-story mobile homes. By adding corridor and canopy designs, space utilization is improved. The indoor area is the same as that of the 6-meter specification, but it meets more functional requirements through vertical expansion, such as dormitories and conference rooms.
Custom Specifications: According to customer needs, container houses can be customized to sizes such as 3 meters × 8 meters and 3 meters × 9 meters, and even larger spaces can be formed by combining multiple containers. Custom specifications need to be determined through consultation with the manufacturer and are suitable for special scenarios such as temporary medical stations and agricultural facilities.
III. International Standard Specifications
20-foot Container: The external dimensions are 5.898 meters × 2.352 meters × 2.390 meters, and the internal dimensions are approximately 5.8 meters × 2.3 meters × 2.3 meters. It is commonly used as a housing module for modified shipping containers.
40-foot Container: The external dimensions are 12.024 meters × 2.352 meters × 2.390 meters, and the internal dimensions are approximately 12 meters × 2.3 meters × 2.3 meters. It is suitable for scenarios requiring larger spaces, such as commercial exhibitions and temporary restaurants.
IV. Special Specifications
10-foot Container House: The dimensions are 2.994 meters × 2.438 meters × 2.591 meters, with a living area of approximately 7.5 square meters. It is suitable for single-room offices, kitchens, or small storage rooms.
45-foot High Cube Container: The internal volume is 13.58 meters × 2.34 meters × 2.68 meters, with a gross cargo weight of approximately 29 tons and a volume of 86 cubic meters. It is mostly used for large temporary facilities in the industrial or agricultural sectors.
